Intro: Yami, a teenage boy was running home from school, on his way home he heard a small sound that came from an alleyway,as he got closer to the alleyway he heard a soft meow coming from a box, he opened the box and to his surprise, he found a small kitten,Yami had a soft spot for cats so he decided to take the little kitty back home. But what he didn't expect was for the kitty was a neko that ran away from his previous master, but this neko boy isn't any ordinary neko boy, he was Yugi the price of frya that left his home after his parents died, but after Yugi left Dartz took the throne and is now on the hunt for yugi's life,will Yami be able to protect Yugi from the Dartz's army?, what will happen in between all the fighting and blood sheed?, will Yami help Yugi return to his rightful place on the throne?.

Chapter 1: a rainy day surprise

A boy was running down the streets to get back home, the boy had tri-colored hair, his bangs were yellow and some went up his black hair with crimson tips, he had crimson eyes he was short for his age but he had sharp features that make him look his age, until he heard something come from an alleyway "huh?" The boy said and walked into the alleyway and found a box, as he got closer to the box he heard a meow, he sat down beside the box and opened it slowly. he gasped at what he saw, it was a little white kitten with amethyst tips on the end of it's ears and big, bright amethyst eyes were staring at him, he saw that the kitten was wet and shivering from the cold rain that pored into the box, since the boy loved cats he decided to bring the little kitten back to his house, as he reached in to grab the kitten, the kitten suddenly jumped onto the boy and the boy smiled.

"Hello little one, do you want to come back with me?" The boy asked with a calm deep voice, as the little kitten stared at the boy and started to purr and snuggle up to the boy.

"I take that as a yes then?" The boy asked and the kitten meowed as an answer, the boy giggled at the cute meow of the little kitten, then the boy got up and headed home with the kitten in his jacket, there was silence except the purring of the kitten that the boy broke "hey little one? I haven't told you my name yet, my name is Yami" the boy,Yami, said as the cat looked up at him and mewled and cuddled up to Yami

When they reached Yami's home, Yami took out a key and opened the door, when they were in he closed the door behind him and putting the kitten on the kitchen table "don't move ok little one"Yami said and left to get changed and get a towel for the little kitten that was wet and dripping water on the kitchen table but still obeyed what Yami told him to do, as Yami came back it started to dry the little kitten off.

"There you go little one,you know I need a name for you" Yami said as he finished drying the kitten and started to think "hmmm....how about snow?"Yami asked but the little kitten frowned, or at least it looked like it did

Then Yami started to think again "hmm.... Why don't you give me a clue little one?" With that the kitten eyes lightened up and started to play around trying to give Yami a clue "hmm....you like to play, so a name that have something to do with games...." Yami started to think again as the little kitten played with Yami's hand "how about....game?" Yami said and the kitten stopped playing with his hand and shook it's head "ok....how about Yugi?" Yami said and the kitten lightened up and started to meow "so Yugi it is then" and with that Yami took the happy kitten up stairs to wash Yugi up.

In the bath Yami placed Yugi on the sink and started to fill the bathtub with water, as soon as Yugi heard the sound of water running he looked at the tub and jumped into it making a splash and Yami just giggled and closed the tap "Yugi do you like the water?" Yami asked the kitten and he mewled and started to purr in the tub as Yami started to clean him

After Yugi was clean it was time for Yami to take a bath so he placed Yugi on his bed and went back to the bathroom, as he left the room Yugi mewled at him and Yami turned around to face Yugi "it's ok Yugi I'll be back don't worry, I'll just take a bath" he said smiling at the kitten and left

~Yami's pov~

/For a second there I thought that Yugi wanted to say something to me...hmm... It's must be just my imagination/ I thought and lowered my head into the water thinking about the little kitten and his expression before I left I feel as though he wanted to tell me something, something important

After a while I got up and placed a towel around my waist and headed back to my room where I left Yugi, I expected to see a little kitten on my bed when I entered, but what I saw was something else or someone, it was a boy maybe about my age, he looked like me except he was more childish looking, he had try-colored hair like mine but instead of crimson tips he had amethyst and his bangs were yellow but none of them went up his hair like mine and I had noticed that he had cat ears and a tail that he he was holding and his eyes...his eyes were big and their color was amethyst...just like....I gasped when I remembered Yugi.

the boy must have heard me because he turned around, he looked scared so I slowly went over to him and put a hand out to touch him but he jumped up and started to back away and I thought of something...... /could this boy be Yugi?/ I asked myself and went over to the scared boy and placed a hand on his shoulder and he flinched "you weren't supposed to see me like this" he said in a whisper and I frowned at him and ask him "tell me are you Yugi?" I asked in a calm tone and he nodded hesitantly "p-please don't h-hurt me!"he said and I did something that surprised both me and Yugi.... I hugged him

"you scared me I thought that you left the room and left the house and I got even scared when I saw you like this on my bed and I would never hurt you, Yugi I don't care what you are as long as your safe" I said and Yugi started to cry on me, soon Yugi had cried himself to sleep and I took him to my bed to sleep careful of his ears and tail and I sat on the side of the bed and looked at the peaceful neko sleep and think about what I said 'why did I say that...what's gotten into me!....have I really fallen for him?....I think I have....but why did he tell me not to hurt him?....' I was snapped out of ny thoughts when Yugi spoke in his sleep though I wasn't sure what he said 'Yugi I think I have fallen in love with you...'I thought and slowly drifting off to sleep.

Me: yes but konikomi is my reflection

Kiro: what ever but you will make it up to me right?

Me: of course kiro!
