It's Carter again, I was really scared, but I didn't want to show Sadie because she might have gotten worried. But not a regular worried, when she gets worried she panics and when she panics she screams and when she screams you can hear it from a mile away." Carter," she said." Yeah sis?" I replied." I'm scared." She said," I know sis, I'm scared too."I was trying to comfort her, but she started crying." Yeah but what if we never see mom and dad again?" She said loudly." We will see mom and dad again, I promise." " I know, but what if dad gives them the money, we will be poor." Sadie said with tears in her big sad eyes." It'll be ok sis, I promise."" Ok, but how are we going to get out of here?" She asked. I thought for a second, and than it hit me like a bus going 90 miles per hour." I have as pocket knife in my back pocket, if I could just get to it, than I could cut us free." I said,"Got it!" I tried to cut the rope, but I dropped the knife." Great job Carter, you dropped the knife! You just ruined our one chance of escaping this stupid tower, you are an idiot!" Sadie screamed at me. I was ashamed of my self for being so clumsy, I hung my he'd down and closed my eyes." I will take that, thank you very much." I heard the voice of Mr. Masterson in front of me, so I looked up. He smiled at me with his evil smile and said," Thank you for the pocket knife, Carter. I have been looking for one, and I must say that that was a very good escape attempt. But obviously it was not good enough." He walked away and put my knife in his pocket." Oh you have got to be kidding me, that was a 300 dollar special edition Swiss Army knife! I'm done!" I screamed angrily. I had to do something to my sister and I out of this tower and back home to mom and dad before dad sent the ransom money. And if I didn't, than we wouldn't have any money, we would be poor, if I didn't than my family would be in terror. I have to get out of here, no, I will get out of here.
