Today, summer break begins and I hate it. I was already dark, so being in the sun wouldn't benefit me not one bit.
"King! King!" Dominique squealed. She ran through the house, out to the backyard as I slowly follwed her, wobbling. I was wearing a green one peice with a white cover up. The door bell rang, causing me to turn around and wobble over to it. Opening it, caused me to smile as I saw Matt holding hands with his new found daughter Rachel. She was as cute as cute can be. Today she was wearing a pink sundress with her pink flip flops, her hair was in two curly puff balls with a pink bow in tje middle.
"Why, hello cutie pie" I said to Rachel, causing her to make a big smile. Then I lokked back up at Matt. "What time do we have to go to court?"
"12 pm"
I looked at my phone. "Well we all have three hours of fun"
He smiled. "Yeah. Where the kids?"
"Backyard"
He looked down at Rachel. "You wanna go play with the other kids".
"Yes!" She squealed, and with that, she ran in the backyard.
"She aint shy at all?"
"I dont think so. I'm pretty sure her mama left her alone with thousands of other people being the crack head she is"

"You love me, you love me not, you love me!" 6 year old Dominique Crow giggled, causing King to smile.
"I told you" King teased as he splashed water in her face, making her whine.
"Stop it!"
"Sorry". Gees King thought.
"I'm getting ou-". Dominique was cut off by the sight of seeing Rachel. "Who are you?"
"Rachel" The little girl answered, quietly.
"Are you new here?"King asked.
Rachel shook her head. "I don't think so"
Dominique grabbed her hand and pulled her to the big tree that they used as a shade, leaving King to shrug and play tag with Kory, Jose, Max, Junior, Angel, Abel, and Connor
(Kids that King made friends with. It is not King's birthday party by the way. Just a regular pool party)
"Do you know we're the onkt girls here?" Dominique asked.
Rachel nodded. "I see"
"The boy right there is Abel, he's my cousin and the other boy right there is King, that's my boyfriend "
"Boyfriend?"
"Yeah"
"Don't you think you a little bit too young to have one of those?"
"What do you mean"
"Well my mommy said if you got boys and you're not older than 18, you're a ....a...a...um a hoe!"
Dominique gasped. "I don't wanna be a hoe"
"Well you need to stop being his boyfriend"
"Okay!". Dominique stoop up from her criss cross applesauce position to walk over to King. "I have to tell you something "
"What?" King stopped chasing Jose and raised his eyebrow.
"Im not your girlfriend anymore"
"Why?"
"Because my new bestfriend told me having a boyfriend at six is called being a hoe"
King frowned. "But-"
"No buts. We are not a thing anymore".
And with that, she left to play with Rachel....
