The bell rang for class to be over. At that moment I heard two voices, one was my best friend, and the other one I wish would leave my life forever.

My best friend came up behind my chair.

"Hey are you alright, and are you coming to lunch?"

"I'll catch up with you later, I'm going to..." and I trailed off he knew and I didn't want to say it out loud.

"Hey chic" the other voice said.

"Shut the fuck up" I said as I hurled my math text book at his face.

"Well, this little bitch has a mouth on her doesn't she?"

"Leave her alone Caleb," Jake yelled at him.

Yep, Jake is my best friend and only friend. He says he would do anything for me and I believe him because he gives me my space. That's the only thing I ever ask anyone for but he's the only one that gives it to me.

They both know my secret, they have both kept it but Caleb has only kept it for his own good. I felt Jake behind me start to roll up the sleeve to my sweatshirt. I spun around and stared him in the eyes. The plead in his eyes made me let him. He saw all the new scars. 10 new ones since yesterday. He then got up and left he understood me more than anyone else but he still

wanted to make sure I was 'alright'.

My lunch consisted of an apple and water. I didn't want to eat the apple but my foster parents insisted I eat something and they were expecting the core of the apple back. No one who knew would eat the apple and the other people would just throw the core away. So that left me to eat the apple.

I was in the bathroom purging when three more girls walked into the bathroom. They just stayed at the mirrors and didn't bother to check if I was in there.

"She's a freak," the first girl said.

"How is she every guys dream girl?" The second girl asked.

"She's has the perfect body, she's tall and skinny and has beautiful auburn hair that curls perfectly and it's long and beautiful," the last girl said.

All three of them left. Class had started but no one would be expecting me for a while. I went out of the stall I was in and looked at myself in the mirror. What the heck were they talking about. My hair falls to the top of my hip bones. It's always in front of my face so I can avoid looking at people and having them look me dead in the eyes. I am no where near skinny. I only have two friends Jake and Ana.

I didn't want to go to class so I just didn't the teachers would notice it in the attendance but other than that no one would notice or care. No one would come to this bathroom during class because it was so far away from any classroom.

I just sat in front of the door and took out a blade I wanted to see blood I wanted all my pain to go away. The door that I was pressed up against began to open. You know what I don't even care anymore I let them come in. It was Jake.

"How'd you know I'd be here?"

"It's you favorite hiding spot..."

He closed the door and sat next to me and leaned back against it. I pushed my blade away and also leaned back against the door.

"If you don't mind me asking how did this happen? You used to be the innocent need that got a perfect 4.0 GPA what happened. The only thing that other people see is the same is that I'm still your best friend, Roxane you don't have to answer if you don't want to."

"I...I..."

"I understand," he interjected.

"No, stay, I want to tell you"

"I wasn't planning on going anywhere I'm here to stay."

"So what I'm hearing is you want to stay in the girls bathroom forever."

"You've always been funny."

I looked at him then looked away. How is it that when he gave me a compliment I seemed to believe him but when anyone else tried to give me a complement I want to laugh my head off.

"Are you still thinking about committing suicide?" He asked.

That question took me off guard.
