Chapter 4

Kate's POV

I was happy that Criss was smiling again. She didn't smile very often and thats because of Harry.

She is very upset about him leaving.

It was very hard for her, and when I found out that she cutted herself I wasn't so shocked because she always tells me how she feels in the moment and I try to help her.

She is very beautiful and I wonder that Harry hasn't asked her out yet.

We were now in the car singing along with the radio because some good song played.

"So what's your opinion about the boys ? " I asked.

" I really like all of them, but the most simpatic is Harry, and then Louis " She said.

" Come we go to my place before work starts " I say and she nodded.

She drives towards my place.

She parks her car in front of my flat.

We get out if the car and began to walk up on the second floor where my apartment is.

I quickly open the door and walk in.

When I walk in she quickly lays down on the couch and I decided to make some snacks for us.

"Wanna watch a movie ? " Criss shouts from the living room.

"Yeah " I shouted back.

" I pick the film today " she said.

"Okay" I shout.

I was ready with making popcorn and I walked into the livimg room and sat down next to Criss.

Than she put some film in and it started.

We watched it and than Crisss' phone rang and than she stands up to answer the phone.

" Hello ? Hey. Just watching a film with Kate You ? No I don't have. Yeah. Okay see you tomorrow " She said into the phone and ended the call.

"Who was on the phone ? " I ask her.

"Harry " she answered.

"What did he want ? " I ask.

" He wants to hang out with me tomorrow "She said a big grin on her face.

" Seriously ? " I ask with a big smile on my own face.

" Yes "She smiled at me.

" That's fantastic ! " I tell her.

" I'm so happy we met them at Starbucks " She smiles at me.

I quickly look at the clock on the wall and see that our shift begins in 30 minutes.

" Come we get going " I say and she nods and grabs her things.

We walk out of my apartment, and walk towards her car and get in.

Some annoying music was playing on the radio so I decided to turn it off.

After a ten minutes we arrived at Starbucks.

We quickly got changed. Luckily we have two uniforms so we decided to keep one here and one at home.

It's a good idea, we love working here, but we wanted to go to a real university to learn, but we never had the money to pay for a university.

My parents died in a car accident one year ago.

We lived here in London in a big house.

Once we decided to go out for dinner, and when we came back another car drove into us.

I was sitting in the back of the car. Once the car came into us everything in front of me went black.

I was a month in the hospital, and then the doctor told me that my parents died I had a breakdown.

I wanted to die, to leave this hell that is called Earth.

But there was a very friendly nurse that helped me to get on my feet and start living my life again.

And there I had a big house, my parents house.

But I couldn't pay all the bills, so I sold it.

Everyone asked me how old I am, because if I wasn't eighteen than they wouldn't let me sell the house.

I sold the house to a rich man and his family.

From the money that my parents kept, and the money from the house I could buy a flat.

In that year I met Criss. First we meet at Starbucks, because I couldn't find myself any other job, and then we met.

After a few months we got to know each other better and became friends.

After a month we became best friends.

She helped me to get over the car accident, and I helped her to clear her head about Harry, but it came even worse.

There was this guy, I think Matt or something, and it was actually going really great, but when he first cheated on her she forgave him.

And it was so normal to Matt that if he cheated on her she would forgave her.

It was easy. The first three times he cheated on her she forgave him.

But when he started going out every night with other girls she couldn't handle it.

She went to him to break up with him, but then he just started hitting her, saying if she leaves him he would kill her.

She agreed with that one more time, but than once she went to his apartment and she found him with another girl in his bed so she shouted at him, and than he hit her so hard that the neighbours had to call the ambulance to take her into the hospital.

It was very bad and frightening to see her in the hospital.

I taught that she would leave me here too just like my parents did.

But than she luckily came out of the hospital after three months.

Than things were getting better.

None if us were seeing guys, we didn't want to date again.

" Kate? " I heard Criss's voice.

" Yes ?"I ask.

" What were you thinking about ? " She asked.

" Oh just remembering a few things I have to buy. " I lightly answered.

" Oh okay " She said.

After that I got dressed into my uniform, and walked out of the dressing room.

Criss's POV

We were ready to start our shift.

Than I saw a rally nice girl walking into Starbucks.

" Hello " I say.

"Hi "She answered.

" What would you like ? " I ask her retuning the smile she gave me a few moments later.

" Chocolate cream please "She answered.

" Okay, what's your name ? " I ask her.

"Kendall" she seems really nice."Yours ?"

" Criss " I say.

" You seem pretty cool, wanna hang out sometime ? " She asked me.

"Sure "I said smiling.

We quickly changed numbers, and I put it into my phone.

I wouldn't mind having some other friends.
