When she dismissed us, I ran out of the class (like usual). Nickel skipped the line once more and he invited other Nickel and Donut, the fat kid in our class that eats everything. Thoughts ran through my head as that happened.
-Little bitch ass.
-I swear one day I will fucking hit him in the head with a Pringles can.
-I swear, he wears the same shoes everyday. I want to say that but I'm saving that for when he says "What are those?"
-He has a pumpkin head."Ok Darnell, don't snap on anyone this week. You're a good child. Let me just say goodbye Charlie, and we're done."
"Goodbye Charlie."
"Charlie? Who Tf is Charlie, nigga?" said Pineapplehead.
"You'd understand if you were smart."
"This is why I can't stand you. You think you're smarter than everyone in the class."
"That's because I am."
"No the fuck you not, cause anyone can get a 4.0."
"Then why can't you."She turned around.
Yeah.. That's what I fucking thought, Pineapplehead. Dumb savage ass complaining about cafeteria food and saying it's not safe but eats it everyday anyway. Smh.As I went through the cafeteria line, I got Chicken Tenders, Milk, and Cantaloupe. I scanned my ID tag and I walked out of line. I got barbecue sauce along the way to my table. I sat down next to Cole and Zoe (pronounced Zow). I finished my chicken and threw the basket away. Anne was coming over and the table was full so I gave up my seat, and went over to Autumn, Ling Ling, and Gabriella.
"G, can I play Kangaroo simulator on your phone?"
"K." said Gabriella.
"What's that?" Autumn asked.
"This game I found when Gabriella promised that I could download games on her phone."
"Ooh, I wanna play." said Autumn.
"But I asked firsssst."
"Darnell, just let her play, she's never experienced the excitement."
"Ok."I soon got bored so I went to Gerby's table and listen to some weird story. Dr. Rice dismissed us to 5th period and I left, even though she didn't dismiss me.
I walked to the back right wing of the school and went into the stairwell. I saw Mr. Noalba.
"Hey D." He said.
"Sup. Woaah, wait. D?"
"Yeah. Is your name not Darnell?"
"Yes."
"So then I'm gonna call you D. Or maybe DD."
"Ok."
"So are you coming to tryouts?"
"Yeah."
"Alright, be ready to play."
"K."I walked to Mr. Ermill's class and he wasn't there, so I went to Mrs. Arthakk's class.
"Shello Mrs. Arthakk."
"Didn't I have you earlier."
"Yes... And? Do you not enjoy company while you wait for your students?"
"Not usually with my students. I do a little chit-chat with teachers like Mrs. Rosenham, Ms. Thsmi, and all of them."
"Hmm... Muy interestante."The minute bell rang.
"Get to class Darnell. I'll see you in the morning."
"K."I ran back to Mr. Ermill's class and he was getting ready to close the door. Hell no. I took off my shoes in 4 seconds and I zoomed down the hallway. I ran in and sat down. 5 seconds later the bell rang.
"Bruh!!!"
"Didn't you leave the cafeteria before everyone?" J Cole asked.
"Yes."
"Wow. You're so fast."
Sarcasm... So I shot this back-
"Congratulations."Mr. Ermill gave us a worksheet and it had 7 questions. Omfg, every time it increases...
I did 6 of them and I started singing with Gerby."It's been a long day"
"Without you my friend."
"And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."
"We've come a looooooooooong way, from where we've began."
"Oh I'll tell you all about it when I see you again."
"When I see you again."Mr Ermill starting joining in.
"Oh I'll write 200 referrals in this period."
"In this period."
He gave me a death stare and I looked away so that he could finish grading. Then I pulled out my phone and played on it.The bell rang and I ran out the left wing. I kicked the door out and it almost hit Sophie in the face.
"Sorry Sophie." I said and then ran. I saw the usual people I always do and I saw Faith, Gabriella, and Fall🍁. I hugged them each and bid them farewell and ran more to Mr. Onwils's class."Good afternoon."
"Hey bud! What's up?"Bud? Who says bud? And why did I have to be all formal when he said bud? Damn, this is the most complicated teacher I've ever fucking had.
"Ok class. We're going to sketch some graffiti like I said we would. Everyone get a sheet of paper, a writing utensil, an eraser, and a ruler."
I got my stuff and sat down.
Time lapse to after class, it's very boring and I didn't want to explain every single detail of class.
Mrs. O'connor came on the intercom and distributed the afternoon announcements.
"Now teachers dismiss all students in buildings 2&3."
That was my calling. I rushed and entered the first building, climbed up the stairs, and walked to Mr. White's class.
"Shello Mr. White."
"Go ahead and get your bag, Llenrad."The first building was dismissed and I got my bag and saw Jabari waiting for me.
"So are you really gonna tryout for soccer?"
"No, I brought this huge ass duffel bag, cleats, socks, shin guards, and a t-shirt for my friend."We had gotten to the gym. When we walked in, I saw Jack and a few other people I know. I was confused.
"Darnell, what are you doing here?"
"Soccer tryouts, kid."
"Ok."I went into the locker room where a bunch of the baseball players were changing. I went into a stall and changed. I then walked back out and starting listening to music. Coach Noalba told us to get out into the field.
When we all got there, he told us to run the track. We did.
When we finished he said "DON'T STOP!!! THE WHOLE SCHOOL CAMPUS!!!"
"BRUHHH!!!"😫 I immediately stopped running. When I heard those sentences it was that feeling that you have when you get an F on your progress report.
So I got up and caught up with everyone else. We ran the whole school campus. When we were finished, Coach made us do a drill where we had to run a specific cone to get water. I was lucky enough to get it.
We finished our drill and water, and coach made a huge motivational speech that half of us didn't understand. ELL kids. He finished and dismissed us.
I walked out of the school and my dad picked me up. He drove me to church, in my soccer uniform. Smh.
After church, I called my mom and she drove me home. I talked to my uncle on the phone, ate, took a shower, did a little reading, brushed my teeth, and fell asleep.
Sorry that this is very long, someone requested this to be that long so I just did what they said. STAY TUNED FOR THURSDAY
