September's POV

I wake up and go to the bathroom,I brush my teeth and take a shower.Once I'm done I dry off and get dressed and do light makeup along with curl my hair,I grab my phone and my backpack and head out.I get the school and it's the usual,people staring and laughing at me."Whore" a girl says and a group of her friends laugh,I put my stuff in my locker and start walking until someone grabs wrist and turns me around.

He pins me to the wall,"you owe me a phone" Cameron smiles.I see people laughing and whispering to there friends,Cam hears and looks around while a tear rolls down my cheek.He pulls me into a hug and I cry a little into his chest.He wraps his arm around me and we start walking,"woah Cam you're hanging out with that slut" a guy from the football team says.

He grabs the guy by the collar and slams him into the locker,"what did you say about my girl" Cam asks."I said she's a slut what are you gonna do about it" the guy says.He slams him in the locker again but harder,"if you ever say that about my girl again I'll put you six feet under" he says.He lets go of the guy and walks with me to my class.He walks in the room and sits down,"you're in this class" I ask.

"Yeah you never noticed" he asked,I go to walk to my seat and he holds my wrist."Sit with me" he says,I go to sit in the desk next to him but he just holds my wrist again."I said with me not next to me" he says,"sit on your lap" I ask."Yes" he smirks,"Why should I" I ask."Why shouldn't you" he says,he has a good point.I go over to him and sit on his lap,I put my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around my waist.I look down at his arms and look at his veins,I trace them with long fingernails.

"What's your name" Cam asks,"a name" I say."I'm serious" he says,"September" I say."Well September I think you're gorgeous" he says."You know I still kinda hate you" I ask,"yeah I know but I don't care" he says.He kisses my cheek,"cooties" I whine.He chuckles as class starts,after all my classes I go outside."Wanna ride home" Cam asks,"sure" I say.I get in his car and tell him directions,"what the fuck how are we neighbors" he asks."What" I ask," I live right across the street" he says pointing to the house."What ever and thank you for driving me home" I say getting out of the car,I go inside and lay on the couch.

I go in my room and fall asleep,I wake up and it's nine.I hear a knock at the door and go open it,"can I sleep over tonight" Cam asks."sure but why" he asks,"because I just wanna sleep over" he says."Fine get your stuff and come back here" I say,"okay bye" he says.I close the door and go to my room,I put on a grey oversized t shirt with black knee high socks.I throw my hair in a messy bun and hear the door open,"I'm here" Cam yells."Watch something on Netflix" I yell back, I walk out and sit on the couch with him.He wraps his arm around me as we watch TV,before I fall asleep Cam shakes me a little.

"September I want you to promise something to me" he says,"okay what" I ask."You'll wear my varsity jacket tomorrow" he says,"sure" I shrug."And you'll wear something sexy to school" he says,"no" I say."Please" he begs,"no Cam everyone's just gonna call me a slut and it's gonna end up with me crying" I say."No they won't I promise I just say you will" he says,"fine Cam" I say."Goodnight" he kisses my head,he gets the blanket and puts it over us as I fall asleep.
