Left Behind.

You jumped out of your sister's car as you saw the orange and yellow flames exploding from your boyfriend's house.
"YOONGI!!!!" You screamed.
You ran to the fire only to be stopped by a firefighter.
"Ma'am! You can't go in there!"
You opened your mouth to say something, but you couldn't.
The sight of two firemen carrying someone in a body bag made your heart drop.
"Sir--"
"Ma'am, it's too dangerous for you to be here!"
You cry, so Taecyeon, the first firefighter holds you and comfort you. But, you get out of his hold and run away. You leave your car & sister and run for miles. You end up on a bridge where you trip over a body. A dead body. You notice that it's Hoseok, and you freeze. You get back up to run & realize that it's all you can do. You run until you reach Jimin's house, which is flooded with ambulances. You run to Jimin's crying mother.
"Mrs. Park--"
"(Y/N)!" She interrupts you with a hug.
"What happened?" You ask.
She sighs and say that the paramedics were too late. She also explains how she found Jimin's suicide note. You fall to your knees.
The last thing you said to your best friend was I'll See You Tomorrow, before hugging him briefly. You wish it was longer.
"First Yoongi and Hoseok, now him !?" You cry.
"What happened to them?" She asks with a cracked voice.
"Yoongi burned alive and Hoseok was on the side of the bridge. Dead."
"Oh my." She says softly.
You stand to your feet and hug her again.
"All I could do was run-- I didn't even report Hoseok's death!"
You wipe your tears.
"Sweetie," She says while placing her hand on your shoulders. "Please find the boys. Bring them home."
You nod and she pays your shoulder.
"I'll bring them home."
She smiles. You walk away from her and the scene with your hands shoved into your pockets.
You find yourself walking for miles. You walk until you hear crying. You look in the direction of the crying and notice that it's someone in an alley. You walk to them, while noticing that it's Taehyung. He's shaking, crying, and he's covered in blood.
"Taehyung..."
You kneel down in front of him, and take his bloody hand. You place your other hand on top of it.
"I'm sorry..." he said in tears. "I-I didn't wanna kill him or hurt him, but... he hit her!"
You pull him closer to you and hug him. He cries into your shoulder, and stain the back of your shirt with his bloody hands.
"I have something to tell you." You say quietly.
He pulls away from you and into your eyes.
"What is it?"
You remember what's happened, and you break down.
"Yoongi burned in a fire, I found Hobi's body on a bridge. And Jimin...."
"Jimin?"
"Jimin... drowned himself."
After everything is said and done, you cry into his chest. He rubs your back, again, and you stain his shirt with your tears.
"Kookie's gone." He tells you in a worried tone.
You quickly pulled away from Taehyung.
"What !?" You said with tears in your eyes.
"I screamed for him.... but the car.."
"You're lying !?" You weeped. "Where is Jungkook? Where is my brother?"
You kept asking where your little brother was, until Taehyung shook you.
Taehyung took you to Jungkook.
He was surrounded by cars. The area will soon be filled with ambulances and sirens.
"Kookie..."
You kneeled by his body and hugged him, before holding him in your arms. You wailed and held his hands that were slightly bigger than yours.
"Kookie. Kookie, you're so cold." You whispered. "You're so cold."
You cried and held him, until Taehyung sat down next to you.
"You know," you said with a sniffle, "he and I fought before he left. I love you wasn't even thought of, until now."
You look at Jungkook's face and notice bruises.
"What is this?" You whisper.
He has a busted lip and bruised cheeks.
"Someone beat him up?" Taehyung asked.
"It looks like it."
Rage grew inside of you. But you couldn't do anything. You just sat there, holding your baby brother. You called him your baby, even though he was 18.
Police sirens began to sound off.
"We gotta go." Taehyung said.
You kissed Jungkook on his forehead, then let him go to stand to your feet.
Taehyung grabs your hand and lead you somewhere. But you let go and he turns around.
"Take me to my brother." You beg in a calm tone. "Take me to Namjoon."
He presses his lips together and halfway smile, before saying ok. You take his hand again and walk with him to the gas station that your brother works at.
"Namjoon!" You cheer and run in his direction.
He drops something, causing an explosion!
Your ears ring and you fly backwards, falling on your back! Taehyung picks you up and carry you away while you cry. Namjoon's name escapes your crying throat. Taehyung takes you home and you run to the bathroom. You slide down the wall.
Today, you lost your boyfriend, your best friend & his cousin, and 2 of your brothers. All you have is Taehyung and your oldest brother Jin.
"(Y/N)." A voicr calls, followed by a knock.
You open the door and see Jim. You hug him and cry into his chest.
"Taehyung told me everything." Jin said as tears fell down his cheeks. "Are you okay?"
You shake your head.
"They're gone." You say. "You and Taehyung are all I have left."
Jin pulls away from you and have you look at him.
"(Y/N)--"
"I lost my baby! He was only 18! I promised mom that I wouldn't let anything happen to you guys-- This is all my fault! I--"
"(Y/N)!!!!" He yells. "Chill out and LISTEN to me!"
You both take a deep brother.
"It's not your fault, and you didn't fail mom."
"I watched Namjoon kill hisself! He dropped something and caused an explosion-- I could've saved him and Kookie! I could've saved all of them!"
You continue to blame yourself, until he shakes you.
"Please calm down." He begs.
Jin takes you by the hand and bring you into the living room. Taehyung is wearing one of Namjoon's shirts.
"That shirt is too big." You laugh.
Your smile soon fades. Taehyung hugs you and Jin rubs your back.
"We're going to get through this." They say in sync.
"As long as we have each other." Jin says.
Jin said the same thing when your dad left and when your mother passed away. You always got through it.
The next day, you, Jin, and Taehyung go to the beach. You wrote letters to the boys, and tied them to balloons. You're going to release them at their favorite place.
"OK," you sigh, "Yoongi."
You kiss the letter then release the red balloon. You release the rest of them one by one. Jimin. Hoseok. Namjoon. Jungkook.
"Saranghae." You whisper.
Jin puts his arm around you and kiss the top of your head. The teare just fall and you began to sob. While Jin is comforting you, Taehyung is eyeing something. It's a tall ledge that stands in front of the water. He takes no time in climbing it. When you turn around, he's on the edge.
"TAEHYUNG!!!!" You yell.
"I'm sorry." He whispers.
He jumps, causing you to gasp!
You cover your mouth and continue to sob.
You cry his name. "Taehyung!"
You run in his direction but Jin grabs you. You fall to your knees while his arms are around you.
"TAEHYUNG!!!!"
You get out of Jin's hold and run to where Taehyung jumped. Jin grabs you again, this time he picks you up and throw you over his shoulder.
"Put me down!" You demand, punching his back.
But it doesn't phase him. He puts you in the truck and fasten your seat belt, before running to the ledge. He removes his socks and shoes, and go into the water. Seconds later, he finds Taehyung's jacket floating in the water. You watch him pick it up and hug it. You scream into your hands, then cry as loud as you possibly could.
The first thing that comes to mind is "Not again."
Jin gets back in the car, and he's dripping wet. He starts the car with no words. Neither one of you say a word. The entire car ride is silent.
You run to your room, as soon as you get back home.
Your room is filled with pictures of you and the boys, mostly you and Yoongi. Your favorite photo is one that you took on Halloween. You were dressed as Lois Lane kissing Yoongi, who was Clark Kent/Superman, while he was on Jungkook's shoulders and you were on Namjoon's shoulders. You look at everyone else's costumes. Namjoon was Dracula, Jimin was Aladdin, Hoseok was a racecar driver, Taehyung was the Joker, Jin was a doctor, and Jungkook was a police officer.
It's so heartbreaking that 6 of the 8 people in the picture are dead. Which is why it brings you to tears once again.
To let out some anger, you grab your lighter and set a loose piece of paper on fire. You accidentally drop it when it gets too hot. It falls on a pile of loose papers, which catches on fire. You stand there in shock as it spreads rapidly. Jin comes in, not noticing the fire.
"(Y/N), are you hungry-- (Y/N)!!!!"
You snap back to reality but don't move. You just stand there looking at the fire that spread to your pile of clothes.
"Come with me, Jin." You beg.
He looks at you with the "Are you crazy !?" look.
"I wanna be with mom and the boys. I wanna be with Yoongi and our baby."
Bringing up his stillborn niece wins Jin over. He closes the door behind him.
You hold each other tight as the Carbon monoxide fills the air. The flames grow larger as you throw more clothes into the fire. You began to cough and suffocate, causing you to fall to your knees.
"(Y/N)!"
He kneels down beside you, as you gasp for air.
"I love you" were your last words to your oldest brother.
The deadly air conquers Jin's lungs. He faints, before coughing to his death. The fire slowly consumes you two.
