The snow fell around her. Somehow, in the middle of July, the snow was falling around her. Then she heard the footsteps, the crunch of feet on snow. She couldn't remember why she was here.
"Alexandra." The voice came out slurred, like a snake. It was low and rumbled the earth, "Why have you come to see me after I asked you to stay away." She could see his shadow coming up behind her. "Speak woman. I haven't all day." She could feel the earth below her.
Slowly she turned to see who the man was. "Ouranos," God of the sky. What was she doing here with him. He was most definitely married to Gaea, goddess of the earth. His grey hair stopped at his shoulders and he wore a long white cloth skirt, his muscles were broad.
"I took away your memory of me so you wouldn't keep returning here." He seemed disappointed but happy at the same time. He glanced around, as though waiting for someone bad to show up.
"If you didn't want me to return then why did you show up soon after I did," she started to recall the previous affairs between them while he was married to Gaea.
"Well I- I guess I was waiting for you." He looked down, suddenly defeated.
She took a step towards him and he took a step towards her until they were inches apart, "You can't get rid of me Ouranos." He was crazy for her, ever since she'd turned sixteen he'd been secretly finding ways to see her. She made him feel young again.
"But you know we can't be together Alexandra. I'm married." He was almost ashamed.
"Look at you! Your wife betray you, yet you still defend her! You are-" But she was cut off by his laughter.
"Gosh your too cute when your mad you know that?" His deep laughter was sexy in its own way. He charmed her so easily in these small ways. "My wife is a traitor to this marriage but I don't have to hate her." He put a hand on her shoulder and smiled, "But you'll always secretly be my number one." Then he kissed her. First on the cheek, then her jaw and finally on her lips. It was a passionate one. One meant to be a goodbye kiss.
Then her body went into shock as something went up through her chest and pricked his. Her white dress became red and then she was growing limp in his arms.
"I told you to stop seeing her," the snarled voice came from behind her. Almost female sounding.
Ouranos fell to his knees in despair, crying over Alexandra's now limp dead body. His wife, Gaea, stood above him, knife in hand, grinning down at both of them. Then Ouranos reached up and grabbed the knife from her hand, "I don't want to be with anyone else but Alexandra." Then he stabbed the knife through his own chest, ending his life.
