Part Two

Phil POV

I took the pizza out of the oven and let it sit for a moment. "Dan, the pizza is done!" I called into the other room. He made his way into the kitchen and sat down at the table. I cut the pizza and put each piece on a plate. I placed one in front of Dan and then sat in the chair opposite of him. We stayed silent as we ate but I didn't really mind. Looking at him I think, he is pretty adorable... Maybe you could like him like that.. Never mind, Dan and I were best friends and I didn't want to jeopardize anything between us. For some reason this thought made me laugh, I chucked quietly and was surprised that Dan heard it. "What?" He questioned. "Oh, uh, nothing I was just thinking about something funny Chris told me." He bought this thankfully.
   We finished up eating and made our way to living room and turned on the movie, again, staying silent for most of it. Once it was over, I decided to head to my room and get ready for bed. I got in something more comfortable and sat up in my bed and texted Chris for advice.
Me: Hey Chris can I ask you something?
I knew if I ever needed advice, Chris would be the one to get it from, he was good at these things. 5 minutes later he texted back.
Chris: Yeah Phil, of course!"

Me: Um... I've been thinking about this for a while now... But I don't know what to do, you won't tell anyone right?

Chris: You have my word, I would never tell anyone if it meant this much to you.

Me: Um... I- I think I like Dan... Like more than friends.
He started typing it took about 2 minutes for him finally to respond, I didn't blame him.
Chris: Honestly, in my opinion I think that if you like him that much, I think you should tell him that. I know you're afraid of what it will do and how he'll react but what's going to happen if you don't tell him? Anyways, I'm happy for you and I think you should go for it!

Me: Alright, thanks Chris, you're a good friend.

Chris: No problem, tell me what your gonna do after you think about it more.
I put down my phone and shut off the light, I stared at the ceiling and tried to think about it... I guess maybe I should tell him, I don't know. I guess I'll think about it in the morning...
