first contacts

Bea walked slowly,in a strict path, her eyes big with worry as she passed, she was starting to get creeped out,when she heard a noise.

"What is this?"

Straight out of the shadows a silhouette came out,which turned out to be another girl.

"Leela!" She gave a relieved sigh "don't disappear like this, i was going crazy looking for you!"

"Sorry! I was looking for you"

"What kind of sick prank was that? I was worried about you"

Well.. ,i woke up in the middle of the night and saw an animal running away, taking my cellphone along, i tried to follow them but ended up getting lost".

"Well" Bea sighed "did you find your cellphone?"

"Not yet b-"

"We are not giving it back to you, if you are wondering" said a voice from behind, which made the girls jump

"Who are you?!"asked leelah

"I would say 'us'." A different voice said ,more melodic and feminine

The girls,terrified, held each other in their arms and crouched to the ground, frozen in fear

"Uh...I think you scared them way too much Jake"

"I think so too"

"Shall we show up?"

"What?! No! It's dangerous!"

"You think two girls are danger?"

"No,but their mouths are"

"They'll be even bigger if they don't get a proper explanation"

"Clarity speak properly!"

"Would you mind caring more about two harmless girls and less 'bout the grammar? "

"Alright alright we can show up"

The last word said, two persons jumped from the shadows, both quite short teens

"Greetings! we apologize for scaring you two so much" said a short girl with brown hair,she looked pretty thin, yet she was quite beautiful

Even with the 'voices' showing themselves up the girls were still crouched and holding each other,just less tightly

"Come on, i do not think we were that creepy!"said a little chubby boy with black hair,he had some freckles and was kind of pale

"It's not that"said Bea,a grin spreading across her cheeks "I was expecting a couple of big bloodthirsty demons, not a petite girl and a short guy"

"Well in my eyes you do not look like an enormous wasp!" The boy Jake talked back to her,slightly irritated about the daring expression on her face

"Wait,wait a min" Leela interrupted "could someone give back my cellphone? I suppose you got it"

"We are sorry, but it stays with us"Jake said ,no expression on his face "objects like this must be kept away from this forest"

"Oh Jake c'mon!" The short girl interrupted "Don't you think this cellphone thing is already enough? You interrupted our patrol for this"

"I agree with clarity" said a voice that came out of the shadows,both Bea and Leela turned their head back to look at the stranger.He was tall, had black curly hair and freckles "This technology laws are already pretty obsolete, besides, you still have duties to do,like continuing the patrol."

"So you are not just small but you have giants too?" Bea said,way too comfortable for the situation.

"Hush!" Jake snapped "Peter, even if the law is obsolete, i would like to talk to our leader about these cityers in our lands"

"Then go and tell him! But give little bee's friend phone back"

"Hey!"

"Everything has a price shorty"Peter said ,glaring at her, Leela could see that he was proud of this

"Alright,i will give it back to her" Jake said giving the cellphone back for Leelah,who was already growing a little impatient" i will tell Raj about cityers in the land, we must organize more patrols"

"Fine then" Peter said,giving a glance to bea and Leela, like he was studying them

"Let's go" said Clarity "we are wasting time here"

"Yes" said peter "I say farewell for you girls and apologize for the incident"

"We accept it" Leela said but Bea remained silent

The three persons started to walk in the shadows,becoming invisible and blending in beetween them,and that's when Bea jumped a little

"Hey! Wait a minute!" Bea yelled at the people who were blending to the shadows. "Who are you? What were you doing in the forest? Who is Raj and what is your clan?" Bea demanded to know ,a spark of curiosity visible in her eyes

"We are the fores-ouch! " Clarity exclaimed but Jake elbowed her,clearly a sign to silence

"Forget about us" he said bluntly "we are nobody and we never existed, follow your own way and you will be just fine, leave this forest and never come back" That being said,the three persons disappeared in the shadows of the forest,only to Peter poke his head out of the shadows and say

"Farewell Bee and...Leelah! I will see you around" Peter said and looked deep into Bea's eyes

That sent a shiver down her spine,but that could only means something

That wasn't going to be their last time there
