I rounded the corner. Sprinting as fast as i could. "Watch out!", people screamed as i zoomed past them. As i turned to go down yet another alley in this labyrinth of a city, i looked back to see if he was still there. I whipped back around only to come face to face with the who had been chasing me. "Crap", i muttered under my breath, the guy was tall looked about my age, maybe a few years older. 'Think peyton' i thought to myself. I began to breath faster and harder (i had just run at least four blocks after all) i fell to my knees wanting to have a smug look on my face but i knew that wouldnt help me. I tried to catch my breath. He kneeled down onto the hard ragged gravel and asked, "are you okay?", as he did i took advantage of the moment. I stood up quickly as he stared at me in awe as i proceded to kick him square in the shin. "YES!", i thought to myself. I wanted to scream it but i knew i had to get out of there as quickly as possible. I ran. For once i was glad coach rob made us run the sprints. Wind hitting my face i found my way to the main street again. I looked back to see him gone. "Thank god" i whispered to myself and as soon as i did i felt all the weight bring lifted off my feet as two strong arms wrapped around my waist holding me close to their chest. A low chuckle bellowed from behind me. "You actually thought you could outrun me?", Another low chuckle, "you've underestimated me princess", he whispered in my ear. And with that he whisked me away. Gone from the busy streets of chicago. Gone. Without a trace.
