The last words

Chapter 5

After all of his babbling about Meredith, we got all of our books and went to Starbucks for a cold drink on that hot day. When we got our drinks, he wanted to sit down instead of leaving right away. So we sat down and all he wants to talk about is Meredith Ashmen. So I listened to what he had to say and then I told him " all you can do is hope for the best." Once we finished our drinks, Oliver bought us a muffin to share just so we could talk more about Meredith. About to bites in he asked for my advice, so I gave him what information was needed and we finished the muffin then left. He walked me home but I just felt so empty on the inside. After we actually arrived at my house, he wanted to stay and talk about school stuff not Meredith do of course I said yes as long as it's not Meredith. So he came inside and my mom gave us cookies like any other mom would and we talked about what happens in our classes today. But he said his wood shop was good. The whole time he was there I was thinking about him and Meredith together. Eventually it came time for him to leave so we went outside and... BAM!! I was shot by a complete stranger. Blood was all over me, my mom was screaming and calling the ambulance and she went inside to get the first aid kit but she knew by the time she got back I would be gone. Ot was only Oliver and me outside so I said to him, as my dying last words... I love you Oliver Patterson
