I walked downstairs in the new house. It had been two weeks and we still didn't have that much furniture. So today I told him that we would go find some today.

"Come on bae!" I said excitedly.

"Calm down ma' now I'm gone let you do ya' thing when we get here but I don't want no bright ass colors. No pink or yellow. None of that shit!" he looked at me seriously.

"Baby calm down, I got this." I laughed. Little did he know this was my specialty. I loved interior decorating; It was like my calling.

When we got there, I went into IKEA and almost died. There was so much nice stuff, but I don't know how I was going to decide on just a few things.

I walked past a dining room set that had a metallic-type table and matching chairs. I liked it a lot. That was until I looked at the price tag.

"Whoa! Tez this say $900 for just these two pieces. We'll look for something else." I said, walking off.

"You like it? Cause if you do then we'll get it. Ma' money ain't a factor. I'm gone spoil you whenever you with me." he said holding my face.

I smiled. Those were the words that I needed to hear; after that I got as much as I could. We got things for the dining room, living room, bedroom and a few bath room accessories. We ended up spending close to 25 stacks! As I grabbed the receipt, I heard a woman say my name, more like yell.

"Gyzell!" she got closer. It seemed like I knew her, I recognized her face from somewhere I just couldn't remember.

"You don't remember me?" she asked.

"Ummm... I'm trying to." I said truthfully.

"My name is Sidney." she said, coming over to me in a bright yellow dress. I heard that name before I just couldn't quite put my name on it. I heard I girl arguing with her dad and that's when it clicked! She was my dad's girlfriend, Sidney.

Oh my God! Just my luck. I just smiled though I know it probably looked fake.

"What happened to you?" I just stared at her. This woman barely knew me; She may think she was replacing my mother, but she was wrong!

"Bae you ready?" Tez asked stepping up to me, not even looking at Sidney.

"Uh..." I said.

"Do you wanna see your dad before you go?" she asked. She kept scratching and looking around as if she was nervous. It was frustrating me; I just wanted to shake her.

"No I'm good, as a matter of fact I'm just going to leave." I said walking off.

"I'll just tell him you said hey." she called after me.

"Don't bother...please." I said.

We got home and Tez said he had to go handle some business, so he just dropped me off.

"Bae I wanna go grocery shopping." I said.

"Just get the money from out the closet in the bedroom and take the Range." he said, handing me the keys.

"What time you think you gone be home?" I asked.

"I don't know maybe around 11, maybe 12." he said.
