Emma's POV:

It had officially been two weeks of me staying with the boys. It was weird, how we all became close so fast. Overall, I'd say Louis is my best friend, well aside from Harry. Harry and I get along pretty well and he (thankfully) hasn't brought up our disagreement from two weeks ago. Another thing changed, I talked to Leo. He texted me the other day asking to meet up and he apologized and I forgave him. I mean, he was once the love of my life. We were hanging out later today actually. I will never date him again, but I'm willing to be friends with him.
I walked into Harry's room to get a bathing suit to go to the beach. When I walked in I saw him laying in the bed watching television.
"Hey!" I said, smiling at him. I walked into the closet to find a bikini and cover up.
"Hi! Where are you heading to?" He asked.
"The beach with a friend! I'll talk to you later!" I called out to him at I entered the bathroom, changing my clothes and then skipping to Louis room to chat. I opened his door and plopped beside him on the bed.
"Hi!" I sung in a cheery voice.
"Hello, what's got you so happy, Love?" Louis asked, laughing at my cheeriness.
"Just excited, I'm going to the beach with my friend, Leo!" I exclaimed.
"Hm, do you like this said Leo guy?" Louis asked, wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed.
"No, we're just friends. I have to go! I'll see you later." I gave him a wave before getting picked up by Leo.

We arrived at a secluded beach about thirty minutes from the boys flat. We both got out of the car and laid our towels out on the beach. I took my cover up off and laid on the towel.
"It's such a good beach day."
"Yeah, I know." Leo replied, his smile not meeting his eyes. I smiled at him and propped myself up on my elbows.
"What do you wanna do?" I asked.
"Kiss you," he replied simply.
"Leo, no kissing." I said, sternly.
"One kiss," he begged. I swallowed. I can't fall back into love with him. I won't let myself.
"No Leo, sorry." I said, standing my ground. All the sudden, he slapped me, and I stood up quickly with him and grabbed my cheek.
"Ow, Leo!" I cried out.
"I just wanted one kiss, you fucking bitch!" Leo yelled at me. "Give me a kiss!"
"No, I'm leaving!" I cried out. I went to pick up my towel before being having my wrist twisted behind my back until it cracked. I fell laid on the ground and cried out in pain. My wrist was on fire, I think he broke it.
"Good luck getting home, slut!" He yelled at me.
I laid there for a moment crying, my wrist in so much pain, trying to focus on what just happened. I reached for my bag to call Louis to pick me up.
I rang three times without an answer. I didn't know who to call next.

Harry's POV:
I finished watching television and came out into the kitchen where Louis was eating lunch.
"Hey, mate, I figured you were at the beach with Em?" I spoke.
"Oh, no she's with her friend, Leo." He replied and I instantly froze. That ass that she was so afraid of? Why would she be with him? I quickly ran to my room to get my phone, just as I saw an incoming call from her. I picked it up immediately.
"H-Harry?" She spoke. It sounded like she was crying.
"Emma? Emma where are you? Are you crying? What happened? What's wrong?" I threw questions at her quickly, worried.
"H-he just-, I need you to pick me up. I'm at a beach on Perling Avenue, I f-fell and I think my wrist is broken." She sobbed into the phone. She sounded afraid.
"I'm on my way. Don't move." I replied before hanging up and getting in the car immediately.
I sped through all the lights to get there, so it only took 20 minutes instead of thirty. When I arrived, I immediately saw her on a bench with a bruised cheek, holding her wrist. I jumped out of the car and ran over to her. Before I said anything, I lifted her chin with my finger, so I could get a better look at her face.
"Did he hit you?" I demanded.
"W-what? No, I fell. Don't worry about it, but H-Harry, my wrist hurts." She cried out.
"Okay, okay. Breathe, love. I'm going to take you to the hospital to get a cast." She nodded and I carried her to the car.
She cried the whole way there. She cried the whole time at the hospital. Hell, she cried herself to sleep on he way back. I looked at the sleeping, broken girl, sitting there in a pink cast, wondering what I was going to do with her.

When I got back, I carried her inside, careful not to wake her. I placed her on the couch before going straight to Louis room. I barged in, furious. Not at him, but at Leo.
"He hit her!" I spit out angrily.
"What? Who hit who?" Louis asked, clearly confused.
"Leo, he hit Emma. She has a clear mark on her cheek with fingerprints. Her wrist is also broken, but she's blaming both on a fall." I mumbled, extremely pissed off.
"I'm going to fucking kill him, if I ever meet his sorry ass." Louis added, now just as mad as I am. I explained to him the situation at her apartment weeks ago and he was flabbergasted.
"It's hard, watching the woman you love be so broken," I told him.
"You love her?" He asked, shocked.
"Uh, no shit I mean, like. Yeah like." I tried to cover it up as best as I could, but who was I kidding. I was head over heals for her.
"Mate, your gonna get yourself heart broken," he started.
"Don't start with me Louis." I snapped. He nodded and continued watching television. I left the room and say on the couch next to where Emma was sleeping. We stayed like that for an hour, her sleeping and me thinking. When she woke up, she was confused. She sat up and looked at me and by the way her face changed, I could tell she remembered what happened.
"Emma, what happened?" I asked, wanting to know the truth.
"He hit me," she said simply, her facial expressions screaming defeat.
"We're reporting this, Emma." I explained. I wouldn't let him get away with it.
"What? No! We're not! It's fine!" She yelled, quick to defend him.
"He fucking hit you! He deserves whatever he has coming to him! He's a worthless piece of shit!" I yelled back.
"You don't know him like I do! He's just hurt and confused! It's not your decision!" She fought back, clearly angry.
"Are you fucking blind?! He's a monster, how do you not-" I started to yell, but was cut off by Louis.
"Harry, leave it." Louis warned.
"Louis he-"
"Harry." He repeated. I threw my hands up in defeat. I couldn't help a lost cause. But then again, Emma wasn't a lost cause.

Emma's POV:
"He doesn't get it Lou! Leo has his problems, but he's just confused and hurt! He doesn't need to be reported, I'll stay away from him this time, I promise!" I pleaded with Louis.
"Okay." He replied simply. Okay? Okay?! That was his great advice? Wow thanks Lou.
"Why doesn't Harry get it?" I whined at Louis.
"He does, that's the problem. He gets it more than you do. Emma, he lo-never mind." He sighed. He what? I don't get it. I mean, I may have had a tiny crush on Harry since the day we meant, but it's not like he likes me back. He's just so mean to me sometimes. I rolled my eyes half jokingly at Louis before retreating to Harry's room.
I walked in and he was pacing. Great he's still mad.
"Harry." I stated. He ignored me. Why is he so childish?
"Harry." I tried again. He seriously needs to get over himself for a minute.
"Harold." I said sternly.
"Emma." He repeated, sounding annoyed.
"I'm sorry, okay? I know what I'm doing, I've got it okay?" I said, not sure about my words.

Harry's POV:
"I'm sorry, okay? I know what I'm doing, I've got it okay?" She said, sounding unsure of herself. I raised my hand to run my fingers through my hair and what happened next, crushed me. She flinched. She thought I was going to hit her.
"Emma," I started, not knowing what I was going to say.
"Emma your not okay." I stated, looking at her sad eyes.
"I know." She said simply. "But I would like to be and I'm going to get there."
I smiled softly at her. I was going to help her get there.
