10 dead, 7 injured, you're at this point questioning who are those people or what happen to those people, well sadly going to school now can be a dangerous thing. Just yesterday, October 1st Oregon's community college had a massacre take place. This sadly isn't extreme news to the 21st century. Or maybe we can go back to the time Sandy Hook witnessed their own massacre, those precious, innocent children whose lives were taken from them without no warning. It's things like these that leave us puzzled, we simply just want to know why someone would do such a thing. Most of the shooters goals is to kill the most with the least amount of effort, that could be the reason why schools are targeted the most. These shooters or bad guys aren't straight in their heads when doing this, they needed help but couldn't get it and went on a rampage. The shooting in Oregon, well his goal was to kill Christians, killing someone over religion you may ask, well we all know that's sad, like we're back in the olden days, when it wasn't okay to be in a certain religious group. We have those who never stop being heros, not even during a shooting, Chris Mintz become the hero when he became a shield to his fellow classmates, shot 5 times, just to save someone, that takes courage. Or how that girl doing the school shooting played dead just to escape, it took courage to see her classmates get shot. None of this terrible and sad stuff would have to happen if we can end the violence and safety issues schools can face everyday. Luckily this doesn't happen too often but it shouldn't be happening at all. This isn't to scare you from going to an actual school, this is to aware awareness that we need more mental help and support to hopefully end these tragic events.
