Mission acomplished?

>Eyeless Jack's POV<

I watchd as Ben walked away and turned to Jeff whom had a confused look on his face, I was still mad at what Ben had done and althought I knew Jeff wasn't on to blame I still couln't hold back the words that slipped out my mouth. "Jef why didn't you push Ben away or something, do you also like him back or something, I'm sorry but I think i will not go with you hunting I'll see you tomorrow" i quickly walked away leaving behind an even more confused Jeff.

I was so mad i got to the slender mansión and just went to my room, there i just tried to calm down and eventually fell asleep, thinking that i had to apoligize to Jeff for yelling at him for no absolute reason.

>Next Day<

The next day I looked everywhere but couln't find Jeff. "Son, what are you doing?" a voice in my head interupted my search, I looked back and saw slenderman standing on the mansions door.

 "I'm looking for Jeff have you seen him?"

"Oh, i sended Jeff on a mission yesturday in the night, and he hasn't come back"

"What kind of mission? Did he went alone"

"Oh no i sended Masky and Toby with him, I told them to try to capture the rake since it has started to cause problems for us, so Zalgo ordered for his capture"

"Oh ok thanks then" I said walking outside and into the Woods. My mind was going a million miles per hour, what if Jeff had gotten hurt? what if they didn't make it? what if they go into the city and get captured by the pólice?, this and more questions brurred my mind.'I need to calm down, Jeff is one of the best at fighting, and he has always come back from a mission alive' I calmed down and climbed a tree waiting for him to return from his mission.

>Masky's POV<

Slenderman had sent Jeff, Toby, and me on a mission to capture the rake, so here we were trying to capture the wild beast. "toby you get him from behind" "Ok" "Jeff since you fight a Little better you're going to distract him from the front" "Fine, but how are we gonna capture him did you brought a cage or something" "Well no i didn't but i'll attack him from above and inject this" i said showing them a shot with a black substance inside. "Oh what does it do?" Toby said getting closer, i quickly putted it away. "Slenderman gave it to me said it would nock the rake out, enough time for us to securely tie him up and hopefully get to the mansio before it awakens" i said directing  myself to a tree and started to climb up, "Everyone to their position" I said, Jeff went towards he front of the rake and toby went towards the back cautiosly not making any noise. When i got to the top i signaled Jeff to bring him towards me he nodded and started to move forward when we Heard a snap noise coming from where Toby should be, the rake looked up and launched towards Toby.

"Hey stupid rake you remember me, i'm the one who you tried to eat" Jeff said running towards the rake the rake turned from toby and headed towards Jeff. Jeff jumped up and stabed the rake in the back the rake roared and lunged himself towards Jeff, but Jeff was waiting for him he dodged the rake and stabbed him on the side, but the rake unfortunately reached for jeff's feet and made him fall, Jeff hit his head hard on the floor. "Jeff!" Toby yelled and lunged towards the rake. "No toby st... stay back" Jeff said and managed to stand up stabing the rake on the back and pushing him towards where was. Toby didn't listened and still went for the rake, he swang one of his hatchets but missed so the rake slashed his hand towards him but just when he was about to hit toby Jeff pushed him aside and got slashed on his back dropping to the ground. "Jeff!" me and toby yelled. I jumped down on the rake and struggled some time with him until i was able to inject the thing on his neck making him pass out. "Toby tie the rake up we need to go," i said toby nodded and started tying the rake.

I advanced towards Jeff and turned him over to see how bad his back was, it was breeding a lot and had Deep wounds that would surely leave scars. "Jeff are you okay? don't worry we'll take you to the mansion" Jeff coughed and then said in barely an audible whisper"Is toby alright?" "yes he's fine" i responded. I had never understand how Jeff could be so mean at times but at other times like now so protective towards others. "you need to go there's someone coming leave me here i will only slow you down" Jeff whispered. "What?" I asked confused then Heard a lot of footsteps coming our way, 'fuck we must have made lots of noise to alert them i knew he was right about leaving him being the only way'. "Toby we need to go now" I advanced towards him and we both raised the rake, "Damb he's heavy, wait what about Jeff, we can't leave him here" i looked towards him, "Don't worry about me just go already" Jeff managed to say loud enough so toby could hear. "But..." toby started but i interupted "don't worry toby let's go Jeff is strong, Jeff be strong we will come for ,you just stay strong" and with that we started to run towards the mansion. Toby started to cry a little and in the distance i was able to hear Jeff yell in pain before not hearing anything else. 'Please be okay Jeff' i thought running harder towards the mansion. 'we had acomplished the mission but at what cost'
