It was early June and Doncaster’s schools were letting all their students out. Kids ran out the buildings with their book bags swinging back and forth into their parent’s cars, busses or train stations.  Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam were no exception. Louis ran in front of all of them, laughing, and getting to the train station building first. The other lads catch up with him laughing too.

“C’mon lads let’s go, we’re going to miss the train if we don’t” Liam, the responsible one, said still chuckling to himself. They all jumped down the stairs with Liam ahead.  They boys stopped at the last step and waited for the next train to their street. They didn’t all live on the same street, but they were pretty close. They waited for a few minutes talking among them self’s until a train to their street came to a stop. The boys climbed in sitting right in the middle of the train.

Niall sat with his legs crossed as his friends got settled down.

“So, lads what are our plans for the summer?” He smiled his big toothy smile. “I know me and the family is going back to Ireland for a while”

“Oh! Niall, don’t forget you have a friend who would love a souvenir!” Louis smiled. The blonde haired lad chuckled and nodded.

“Of course, I wouldn’t forget about you lads!” The other boys chuckled too.

“I don’t know maybe we’ll go back to Wolverhampton, but I’m hearing mom talk about a trip to America” Liam replied to Niall’s first question.

“Oh, America so fancy” Niall laughed in a weird low voice.  The lads laughed loudly at Niall’s random impression.

The train screeched and came to a stop; it was Niall and Liam’s street. The boys said their goodbyes and Liam and Niall stepped off. The train started up again and the remaining three continued talking.

“So, Zayn, any plans for the summer? Are you guys going back to Bradford?” Harry asked with his half boy smile on his face. Zayn shrugged.

"I don't know. Perrie's trying to talk me into going camping with her family, but her dad seems...frightening" Zayn replied. He began searching his bag for his cigarettes. Louis looked at him with sad eyes. The lads always worried about Zayn. Before they could talk a little more the train stopped at Zayn’s street. Zayn grabbed his bag and mumbled a goodbye just loud enough for Harry and Louis to hear.

Louis crossed his legs and looked at his best friend. He smiled.

“So, Haz what’s your summer plans?”  He asked smiling where the crinkles by his eyes showed up. Harry shrugged.

“Probably sit around, help mom and play video games; nothing special” Harry shrugged. Louis felt sorry for his friend.

Harry’s father left when he was five and it’s been kind of hard with his mom working part time at a doctor’s office. Then a few years later she met a nice man named Robin and they began seeing each other. Things have been getting better, his mom got a full time job at a hospital and Robin had been promoted from his job so a lot more money has been coming in, but not necessarily enough for a trip.

Harry shook his head and let a real smile appear on his face.

“Anyway, what about you any summer plans?” Harry asked him. Louis smiled; he was super excited for this summer.

“We are going to Australia! I’m so excited, Haz!” Louis smiled brightly again. Harry’s shoulders slumped. He wished he could go with Louis. It sounds it really fun.

“It sounds fun, Lou! Don’t forget me!” he faked smiled, but Louis saw right through it.

“Haz..”

“No, Lou it’s fine, really” he faked a smile again. The train screeched with a stop, the boys got out and began walking down to their street.

Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock-

“I’M COMING!” Harry yelled to whoever was behind the door. Harry had fallen asleep while watching some lame TV show in the background. Harry groaned, shaking his curls and opened the door pulling hard.

“Louis, what do you want?” he groaned. Of course his best friend would be the one to wake him up. Louis walked into his house with a big smile plastered on his face.

“You’re coming to Australia with us!” Louis smiled. Harry’s eyes widen.

“I-I can’t L-Louis I don’t have enough money” Harry stuttered. Louis shook his head.

“Nope, you don’t have to pay. Here’s your ticket” Louis said reaching in his back pocket and bringing out an airplane ticket.

“L-Louis I can’t let you do that” he said taking the ticket just to give it back to Louis, but Louis just shoved it back to him.

“Take it Harry. We want you to come with us, okay?” Louis smiled. Harry nodded. “Great! Better start packing. We leave tomorrow at two!” Louis smiled before walking out Harry’s door.
