Skyler POV
Where was this girl? I was thinking. I've been walking around in the mall forever! I can't seem to find my friend Nichole who I came with, and she seemed to ditch me or something. I looked in all of the stores she could've been in and called her cellphone so many times,and left tons of voice mails , she hasn't even texted me a reply.
I pulled out my phone again trying to reach her.
"Pick up, please pick up" I kept walking to different places looking all around me.
"Oof!" I accidentally bumped into a someone in front of me and i tumbled back a little until I felt strong hands grab my arms and pull me back into place and balanced myself
I looked up to see a guy. He had a black quiff, brown eyes, he had on a white shirt with a black leather jacket on with some black jeans he looked about 19 or 20 years old. He was hovering over me, since I was only about 5'4 in high school
"Be careful and watch where your going next time" he said sternly to me in a British accent.
"Sorry" i looked up and I couldn't stop staring at his eyes it was like its hypnotizing me. We were just staring into each others eyes for a few seconds until a sudden beep interrupted the awkward staring. He took out his phone and I think he had gotten a text message from someone after,he glanced at the screen reading the message, he put his phone away in his jeans.
"I gotta go" he gave me an apologetic look and jogged past me heading out
"Well then" I mumbled
I decided to take one more trip around the mall to find Nichole

After about another half hour I gave up and walked out of the mall. It was already starting to get dark. Nichole was nowhere to be found, might as well just wait in the car then. I went to the parking lot and kept walking to the place where the car was SUPPOSED to be.
"Where the hell is my car?" I mumbled to myself and looking around the lot to see if this was the right place I parked it. I looked In my purse and tried looking for my keys.
"Are you serious?" I can't find my keys and my car is missing. Did Nichole steal my keys before and ditched me using my car?
I sighed in frustration and decided to just take the taxi. I walked cross the street in front of the mall and sat on a bench next to a woman about in her 20s. She had shades covering her eyes with dark red lipstick and wearing a red leather jacket. What is up with the leather jackets? It's summer, like seriously?
"Stop staring, it's rude" she said in a rude tone. She was still facing front with her chin up.
"Im sorry" I looked away feeling awkward
After a few minutes a five taxi's lined up against the curve of the sidewalk in a line. I got up and started walking towards the first cab before all the cabs were taken. I was about to open the car door until I was yanked backwards nearly falling.
"What the hell?!" I looked to see who it was and it was that rude lady I sat next to on the bench earlier. She flipped her blonde hair and scoffed.
"All the other taxi's were taken, so I need to take this one." Before i can protest, she stepped into the taxi and rode off
"What a bitch" I rolled my eyes and sat back down on the bench. After what seemed forever waiting,it became night instantly. The warm air relaxed me. I still didn't have a ride and If I walk home it's going to take me more than an hour. I sighed, no buses or taxis. Most of the people already went home. I pulled out my cellphone and checked the time. "Shit" it was already 10:50 pm I can't call anyone to pick me up because my friend isn't picking her phone up, my parents are on a business trip and I don't know anyone else who would be up at this time willing to drive here to get me.
I plugged in my headphones into my iPod and started listening to 'Lego House' by Ed Sheeran. After the song was over I put my things away in my purse and sighed. I'm just going to walk home. There wouldn't be a bus coming sooner. I stood and just kept walking.
I was nearly halfway to my neighbor hood. I heard some kind of footsteps behind me. I turned around quickly, and to my surprise nothing was there. I shrugged it off and kept walking, and I heard footsteps again. I just kept walking faster, and so did the person behind me.
I started panicking and started to run.
I was panting and took a glance behind me, no one was there. I took a deep breath
"Calm down Skyler, your fine" I said to myself and took another breath and started walking again.
All of a sudden a hand covered my mouth.
