THREE DAYS LATER

I am in the car with Louis. He is driving me back to camp. My mum didn't call or come once within the time I was in the hospital. "We're here." Louis says. I smile. We get out of the car. Louis locks it. I can feel stares as we walk to the cabin. I run ahead inside. I lay down on my side of the bed. "Juliet you can't let this get you down. The stares are nothing. People will like you because you are a good person, not because of how you look."

"Louis it's different with one arm." I say sitting up. "A lot of people don't like me as it is. Losing an arm isn't going to help me at all. I know that you, Melanie, and Danielle like me, but everyone else? They seem to hate me. My mum, my dad, plenty of people here at camp."

"Juliet your mum doesn't hate you." Louis says sitting next to me.

"How do you explain that she didn't even come to visit me when I was in the hospital? Or all the concerts and things that were really important to me that she never even bothered to come to? I mean, how can you call that loving me?"

"Juliet-."

"Attention campers, it is now 9:30 p.m. Please stay in your cabins for the rest of the night." Comes over the speakers. I open my dresser. I change clothes. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=82583345. Louis had to put my hair up. It is mission impossible with one arm. We lay down in bed.

"This will turn out ok Juliet. I promise." Louis says. THE NEXT DAY. I wake up. Louis is changing clothes. I stand up. I change clothes myself. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=82621551. I am forced to keep my hair down. I can't do my hair yet. "There is no schedule today. What should we do?"

"Stay in here." I say finishing brushing my teeth.

"We can't stay in here all day Jules. It's a beautiful day out. Please." Louis says.

"I don't want to be embarrassed." I say.

"You won't be." Louis says. "I will be there with you. Melanie can come too."

"I'm scared." I say.

"There is no reason for you to be scared. Come on."

"Fine." I say.

"Yay!!!" Louis yells. He grabs my hand. He drags me outside. "Just ignore them." Lou whispers in my ear when everyone turns their head to us. We walk through the entire motionless camp. Eventually I can't take it. I run into the woods. I am running so far in that I get to the other side where light is shining. I look around. I walk up to the only little tree sitting there. The light shines through the cracks. I sit down on a branch leaning back. Louis walks up. He sits across from me.

"Go ahead. Tell me how everything's going to be ok." I say not looking him in the eye.

"Yeah that's what I always seem to do." Louis says.

"Why did this happen? Why did I have to lose everything?" I ask with tears forming.

"You didn't lose everything Jules. Not even close." Louis says. "Your dad didn't kill you. You're still here. You're still with us. Everything is going to be alright."

"How do you know?" I ask looking at him.

"Because you are capable of great things." Louis says leaning forward. "You are one of the strongest girls I know. Don't lose faith. Things have a funny way of turning out exactly how they seem. No more drama. Things will only get better from here."

"I promise."

I finally updated!!! I am so so so so so sorry I haven't updated! It has been so long. I had a big case of writers block, then I got sick, then I went on vacation, I came back and forgot, I went on vacation again, then school started back up. I'll really try to update on Saturday's from now on for this story. I have no idea what to put next for the rest. If you have any ideas for what to happen, feel free to shoot me a message! Even for a new story! I am always looking for new writing material. I will dedicate it to the person who came up with the idea. I'll post any time I can, have a lovely day! Or night!
