Hope Wellington was a nice, wonderful girl. She saw the best in everything. At least that's what people saw her as.
Hope doesn't remember her childhood much, just that her parents threw her away to this scrappy family. Only person that actually liked her, was her mother. And even she was rude.
Hope was so eager to get out of this hell hole and run, far. Far from her abusive adopted father.
Far from her douchebag of a brother. Far from everyone that's just them. Every time she talked, her voice cracked. They didn't care about health insurance.
Most of the time, her mother was like Fuck It and got mad at her for being sent home from school early.
"Where is my mother?!" Hope screamed out of nowhere.
"In hell, shut up Hope." Hope heard Evan, her adopted brother mumbled.
"Shut the hell up, Evan. No one likes you." Hope rolled her eyes and went back to her book.
"What?" He walks in, looking all tough.
"No- Nothing." Hope trembled.
"Thought so. And get a shower. You stink." He chucks a towel at Hope.
Hope throws her book at the door and stuffs her face into the pillow, letting her face sink in.

After a long night of tossing and turning, Hope finally got out of bed and snuck downstairs, quietly.
As she unlocked the front door, something snatched her and dragged her upstairs.
She tried to run from the grip of the hands, but it was no use. There was no where to run.
