Bullies

Tess and I got in an argument and the rest of our friends took her side. After that I spent most days reading I think I've read 25 books since I've become ex best friends with them. One day I was walking past their lockers when Amber shoved me into the lockers causing me to drop my books. Someone bends down beside me helping me pick my stuff of the ground when he stops I look up to see Caleb. The guy I had a crush on before the fall out with my exfriends after that I've been to depressed for friends or crushes. As we stand up he goes towards the group of girls. He asks me how many times they've done that and I respond honestly saying 4 times a week.

"You can't treat her like that. She is a normal person just like you and deserves to be treated with respect. Stop bullying her it's mean cruel. Hurting another human for your own pleasure is horrible, don't ever think of hurting her again!"

*calebs pov*

As I finish my speech I turn around to find that Sarah left. "Where is her locker?" I ask annoyed at the mean girls. "the purple lock across from the office" says one girl, " are you actually gonna chase after her?" Says another rudely. "Yes I am" I say with a sassy tone making my way through the crowd of students towards her locker. As I reach it I see her sitting completely alone reading a book. I sit beside her. "What's your book about?"

"It's about a disabilitied girl who gets students to help her between classes instead of teachers and one of her helpers has OCD but he doesn't know it yet and so she helps him get through it and get better" she explains smiling. Her smile is so beautiful. I remember at the beginning of the year she had braces I guess she got them off.

The next period was English and it seemed to go by quickly next was French. "Class instead of French class 8D has asked us if we would like to have gym with them." Everyone cheered and we made our way to the gym. When I got down I saw Sarah sitting against the wall reading the same book as before. I quickly get changed and sit down in the centre of the gym for instructions. We were split into six teams and sadly I was on a different team than Sarah.

*Sarah's pov*

Caleb was one a different team, he was on red team while I was one the white team. The teacher then assigned matches. Blue was against orange, pink was against green and white was against red. I was against red, Caleb is on the red team. I started smiling at myself putting my book away. The matches where set up and we begin to play. I was really good a gym class especially soccer. I take the ball up the field passing to Jeramy, Jeramy passes to Seth and Seth shoots it in. We continue passing and shooting and scoring. The score board reads 5-5 next point wins. Amber the one who shoved me into the lockers brings the ball up the field suddenly getting blocked by Caleb I call Amber to pass to me but she ignores me and continues looking. Caleb takes the ball from her passing it to me running after it. "thanks" I say "no problem but I'm not going easy on you" he replies trying to take the ball from me. I quickly bounce it of the wall running behind him to retrieve it I then shoot the ball hitting into the net! I scored the winning goal. Jeramy and Seth high five me and do their winning dances. As they leave Caleb comes up to me getting me into an embrace "you are amazing. Sarah..... I really like you you." He says blushing "I really like you too" I said leaning in. His soft lips brush against mine closing the gap between us. I feel like the only two people on earth, I feel time stop, my heart beating out of my chest. We pull away smiles on our faces.
