I don't want to be here. I. Do. Not. Want. To. Be. Here! Well I'm here...

Here? Where? What? Why?

Currently it's 5:36pm On Monday. What is here? Is 'here' the same as 'where'?

I am in Maine. In a cold blank room. Filled with blue chairs, store-bought raisin cookies, which I will tell you, are LACKING chocolate.

Why here? Well my mother. Oh great 42 year old, Helen. Lovely, blonde hair, laugh line, Helen.

What am I here doing? I guess it's called a support group. The thing, where you sit in a circle and a bunch of shy, but really annoying teenagers cry. Also talk, but no mostly cry.

Over what? The fact they have to be HERE!

Here, in the boring white room in Maine, with old raisin cookies and a "support leader" named Marcus.

~~~
Marcus is a tall, loud, older man. Maybe mid 50s or so...I don't care! He isn't important. What is important, is when I can go home.
Marcus inches as slow as ever, to his chair.
I grab a gross cookie, and sit next to him. Teenagers fill into the 12 empty seats. Most don't seem to know each other.
Marcus coughs and starts to talk in a deep, pretty depressing actually voice, "today", he yawns, "we are getting to know...", yawn once again, "each other. Great okay let's ummm I guess go around and talk about why you are here. Say your...", yawn the 3rd time,"name."
Jeez, I've seen a dead person more energetic than this cucumber. Yes...cucumber. Just don't even question it.
I go first sadly.
"I am Morgan. 14 years of living so far. It's a super long story why I'm in here..." I trail off.
Some brown hair, short dude says, "no...tell us why you are here." Marcus shushes the short boy. I groan. Great!
"No no it's a very long story." I nervously laugh and bite my nail. "Tell us Morgan," Marcus shouts. "Just stuff with my dad and sister or well I don't know, I guess my dead sister." I laugh nervously again and sit down. My face is red with embarrassment.
"Dead sister....," the short hair boy replies to my introduction. I nod and don't talk the rest of the group get to together.
