ShiHae: Short Valentine's Drabble

Jihae didn't expect anything to be different. Shiki had fallen asleep at his desk the previous day and the one before that and the one before. True enough, Shiki had fallen asleep at his desk, a huge pile of paper by his head.

"G'morning, Shiki..." Jihae was getting really upset, honestly. He understood that it was work but Shiki would barely speak 5 sentences to him everyday because of it. It was too much. He slept in a cold and empty bed for the past few days, which, before that, had been warm with the body heat of both men.

"Hm? Ah... I-I fell asleep while doing work!" The brunette gasped as he noticed the papers his head had been laying on. He then turned to the male and gave him a small smile.

"Morning, Jihae!" Shiki gave his lover a quick kiss before returning to his work. This made Jihae feel hurt and well, replaced.

"Shiki~ Let's go out for breakfast!"

"Mm... Im kinda busy now, Jihae. I'd love to eat your home-cooked food instead." The male replied without looking up and with that, Jihae exited quietly.

30 minutes later, Shiki was finally done! The excited male rushed out, about to run over to his 2nd-in-command's home to get his special order but found that the male had just reached his and Jihae's home.

"Here! The report! Thanks so much for helping me!"

"No problem! And... Is this that 128-page report about our whole technological system and the modifications that could be done to it?! You finished this in 5 days?!"

"Yeah, hahaha~ Love does miracles sometimes. Now, I've got to go!"

"Enjoy yourself boss!"

Shiki walked briskly into the house and finally reached their room when he heard soft crying. Was it... Jihae..? He heard all the things Jihae sobbed out and knew that he had hurt his boyfriend really badly.

"...." Soundlessly, he entered the room, placed the roses on the end of the bed and turned Jihae onto his back with both hands.

"Eh?! S-Shi--" Without a moment's hesitation, he leaned down and kissed Jihae as passionately as he could, wanting to show how sorry he is.

"I'm sorry, love... I... I wanted to get my report done so that we can spend the next few days together in peace... I... I didn't mean to make you feel ignored... Please forgive me..?" The male fetched the bouquet and gave it to Jihae who was still staring at Shiki and the roses in shock.

"Happy Valentines Day, Jihae! I love you so so much. You're my one and only boyfriend and nothing can replace you." The male smiled at his blushing boyfriend before planting another kiss on the other's lips...
