"Run, little kitty," Sophie's brother, Matt rasped, "Before it's too la-"

The demon roared and took a chunk out of Matt's throat. Sophia screamed and ran, her human legs being too slow, she turned into a kitten and sprinted off.

She was only four anyway but fortunately she aged as slow as a human- like her brother and father. Her mum died a little while after she turned four and it was really sad- kidney infection and she had to get put down like an animal. It was hard actually, her father acted as the owner.

Sophie quickly ran into a neighbourhood with secret demon killers with their hidden weapons in their cloaks. Sophie turned into her small, human self and went crying to a demon hunter.

"What's the matter, sweety?" The man asked.

  "M-my brother was e-eaten by a d-demon," she stuttered.

The man hugged her, "it's OK, sweety, are your parents safe?" She shook her head and the man patted her back. Then his voice became serious, "Where is the demon?" He asked.

Sophie pointed in the direction she had ran from and the demon hunter nodded, "Stay here," He said and ran in the direction.

The demon hunter's name was Jack. He had killed three demon's in his entire life so far. Soon, it would be his fourth.

He saw a giant monster in the distance. He gave a battle cry and ran towards the demon, it swirled around and tried to grab his throat. Jack dodged the grab and instantly knew what type of demon it was; the simple name was 'throat-ripper' because that's what it did, the scientific name was Nuawdo Reaper.

Jack ran up the demon's arm and pulled out his sceptre.

"Condemn thou monster to hell!" He screamed and the demon writhed as tentacles from the ground pulled him under the Earth. Jack jumped off before the tentacles grabbed him too.

He jogged back to the girl, who was looking at him in a concerned.

"It's dead," He said and the girl had a sadisfaction in her eyes, "What's your name, sweety?"

  "Sophie," The girl replied.

"Sophie..." The man said, analysing the name, "Nice name, I'm Jack. The demon's now in hell."

  Sophie shooked her head, "Jack-"

  "Mr. Henderson, please."

"-Mr. Henderson, you're not supposed to send demon's back to hell- the devil makes them stronger."

Jack shook his head, "Sophie, you must be in shock, they're DEMONS not DEVILS and hell is where they stay."

  "But Jack-"

  "Mr. Henderson-"

"-I don't care!" She yelled which Jack frowned, usually four year olds aren't very smart, "The devil is the demons master and he makes them stronger! You have to KILL the demon- it would just come back!"

Jack ignored her, "Come on, let's take you to an orphanage," It wasn't because he was annoyed. It was actually because he hated to be proven wrong, he wasn't fully satisfied that she was telling the truth but she did have a good point- the demon's did come from hell.

Sophie stood still and planted her foot in the ground and Jack pulled her to make her follow him.

"Come on, Sophie," He said through gritted teeth.

Cat ears popped up on Sophie's head, her nose changed and she hissed.

"What the fu-" Jack began but Sophie scratched him.

"No swearing, Mr. Henderson!" She said, "I'm not going to a stupid orphanage! I'm coming with you! I wanna be a demon hunter- like you. But I'll do it PROPERLY."

Jack stared at her, "But you're only four..."

"With a twenty-four year olds brain... I'm part cat, stupid." She unplanted her boots, "Lead the way, sir."
