Chloe’s POV

When I got home Maya became protective. And by protective I mean I am now band from leaving the house for a few weeks unless for school. I am not allowed to go to any clubs. I mean who she thinks she is . . . my mum. I miss her so much; she never seemed like my mum though. I don’t look like her or my dad. I also wasn’t born in the hospital they say I was born in. and finally I have documents on me at some sort of home. Or something it is called Sunnydale homes. I went down stairs. “Maya what is Sunnydale homes.” She smiled “it’s a children’s home.” She quickly put her hand over her mouth. Why did my parents put me in care and then take me back. “I was in a home.” I asked raising an eyebrow. She nodded. “You will find out on your birthday when you turn 16.” That’s next week. “I don’t want to wait a week please tell me.” She shook her head. I huffed and rushed upstairs into Maya’s room and got the special box of my stuff. I ran into my room and began to search through it. when I was 1 taken to care with Noah and Daniel. And taken out at the age of 2. Ok I was adopted by lisa and jerry beal. And I had my last name . . . . changed. What was my last name before. I looked through the data and it had been crossed out and changed to beal so I couldn’t work out what my last name was. Maybe they were in danger and they had to have my name change so no one could get us. And they maybe had to put us in care so we don’t get hurt or tracked down. Yeah that sounds possible . . . . I think. I heard footsteps so I rushed into maya’s room and put the stuff back and then went back to my own. She walked into my room and sat down beside me on my bed. “on your birthday you will find out everything.” I sighed. “why my birthday?” she smiled. And lifted my chin up. “cus that is when you are supposed to find out.” I smiled at her. Stupid parents. She left my room after a while and I went to sleep. In the middle of the night I heard my window open. I wasn’t sure who it was so I kept my head down pretending to be asleep. I couldn’t risk being attacked if he wanted something. I heard them rummage threw my things and then the person left. I sat up and looked around. Well nothing is missing so I guess its ok? I went back to sleep and woke up in the morning with a gigantic head ache. I went down stairs and walk towards the kitchen seeing a glass of water and 2 pills with a note. ‘Chloe you fell off your bed last night and hit your head onto you bedside table I figured you would have a headache and decided to leave these out in case. Love Maya xxx I chuckled to myself and took the tablets and then I got ready for school. When I reached school I noticed a very familiar bike but I couldn’t work out who’s it was. “CHLOE!!!!!” I heard a girl squeal. I turned around to see emryss standing in black skinny denim jeans with a white top on. The top had a skull on it and she was wearing a black leather jacket. She had an arm round her and I moved my eyes to see the arm belonged to Connor. He was wearing blue trousers with a black top on and a leather jacket on. I smiled at them. “hey you two.” Connor came over and smiled before he squeezed me tight. “erm can I have my body back before asking why did you hug me?” I asked raising an eyebrow as he let go. “well I thought I should er say hi. I mean you are friends with the most beautiful girl in the world.” He smiled before walking back to emryss and lightly pecking her lips. “I have seen better.” I mumbled under my breath loud enough for them to hear it. emryss shook her head and came over and ruffled my hair. “emryss I am not a child.” I said while she did a weird laugh. It made me chuckle abit and then they both went serious. “do you know why we are here.” I shrugged at them, “we want to help chlo. We know you like-.” I cut her off before she even said it. “don’t say it, he hurt me and I don’t want him around.” She frowned and looked at Connor. “kid when it comes to love. You forgive and forget.” He said cupping Emryss’s cheeks and kissing her lips. I smiled to myself. I guess they were right I should forgive and forget. But he hurt me so much and as far as I remember he hasn’t tried to . . . oh wait he has tried to say sorry but I always tell him to shut up. I don’t know what to do to be honest he is sweet but I don’t think I could handle the fact what he said about me hurt and . . . he is always with kylie. “Yeah but the difference is . . . I don’t like him like that, I never have and I never will.” I paused for a breath when I heard someone shout. “Hey Connor your back.” It was drake. Connor nodded his head in his direction and drake put his arm around my should but I shook it off and he began to chuckle. “ok I am now going to leave you guys and head to class.” I turned around and began to walk off. “Chloe wait before you go I want to show you something.” He grabbed my hand and took me to a class room, “wait here back in a minute.” I nodded and he left the room. I went to the corner of the room and sat down and went on my phone. I was on it for at least 10 minutes before the door opened. I raised my head and in walked drake with josh following behind. “ok josh sit down. You two will be in here until you make up.” He said and instantly shot out of the room and locked the door behind him. I looked around. He picked the room well considering we won’t be able to fit through the windows. I sat there awkwardly me and josh both knew I wasn’t going to talk to him anytime soon. He looked at me and I furrowed my eyebrows. He stood up. “look-.” I put my hand up giving him the signal to shut up and began to play 4 pics 1 word. “No Chloe we have to sort this out now if you won’t talk then I guess I will because either way we have to work this out.” I pretended to ignore him but was secretly listening to him. “what I said I didn’t mean any of it. I said it cus I panicked. It was once said that I need to stop breaking girls hearts.” I smiled to myself. He knew I said that. “if it helps I broke up with her. You know kylie. I told her it wasn’t going to work out between us. What I said Chloe I am so sorry I didn’t mean any of it. you are nothing like how I said you was. I do care about you and I would never hurt you.” I felt a tear trickle down my face. “josh . . . you already have.” I said glaring at my phone refusing to look him in the eyes. “I know but I mean physically.” I stood up and frowned at me. “you really confuse me you know. One minute you are saying oh we need to go here and then you take me somewhere to put on a show about how I am nothing to you. Why should I care anyway it is not like I like you in that way anyway.” He looked up at me looking really hurt. “what’s the matter did I hurt your heart like you hurt mine.” He looked at the floor. “cat got your-.” “SHUT UP CHLOE. I AM TRYING TO APOLOGIZE BUT ALL YOU CAN DO IS TRY TO MAKE IT WORSE. YOU KNOW WHAT I HAVE SAID SORRY AND TRIED TO FOR A WHILE NOW SO WHY SHOULD I CARRY ON.” He was right. He has been trying to apologize to me for a while and now I am just taking advantage of it. “I’ sorry.” I whispered. He came over and gave me a hug. I felt the sudden to urge to hug him back and did so then he pulled away and looked me in the eyes. He told me to stay still. He came closer to me. And his hot minty breath began to blow into my face. He closed his eyes and came towards me. I am guessing he is going to kiss me. I smiled for a moment and then remembered I have to kiss back. Just before his lips reached my the door flung open causing him to jump back. “nawh you made up kids.” I gave drake the ‘weirdo’ look and he smirked and jumped on josh. “does that mean -,” “NO don’t even bother saying it.” josh said before letting him finish his sentence. “does that mean what?” josh sighed. “don’t worry about it.” he said smirking pulling me in. I pushed him away. I stormed towards the door. “if you won’t tell me I will find someone that will.” I walked into my lesson really late and ignored the teacher. He wasn’t to bothered anyway. Because I am his ‘star’ student he let me off. I walked over to the rest of josh’s ‘crew’ I had to think of something. I will ask them random questions. “hey me and josh sorted things out.” Mason cheered and pulled me in for a hug. “one question. What are you guys doing on the weekend?” Charlie sighed. “we have plans sorry dani. We are going to a fighting tournament. We would let you tag along but I don’t think josh will be too pleased.” I smiled. “Who is fighting?” Sam looked at the floor. “Josh and some other dude.” He muttered. “JOSH!! He will get killed.” Charlie began to chuckle. “Don’t worry you pretty little head about that babe. He has never lost. That is also why you can’t go. He always stares at you and he can’t get distracted.” “oh ok. Wait he s-stares a-at m-me.” I blushed. Mason laughed at my stuttering and nodded. I felt my face blush even more. “DON’T TELL HER.” Josh yelled storming in the classroom. Everyone began to laugh. “sorry dude I didn’t know it was a secret. We explained why she cant go the whole fact you stare at her.” He began to blush and came towards mason with his fists clenched, I pushed josh out of the way. “it doesn’t matter anyway, I don’t want to go.” He pulled me into a hug. I sighed, “I’m meeting up with Aiden on the weekend anyway.” He pulled away from the hug. “you’re coming with us.” I shook my head. “sorry already spoke to aiden. Don’t worry I wont do anything bad with him.” I winked. “nope sorry dani this is serious I am not leaving you alone with him.” I frowned. “then you will miss the tournament cus I am not going, why can’t you trust me?” I shook my head, the bell went and I stormed out of the classroom.
