One month later

Josue p.o.v

It was our birthday and I was so sad when the memories of being abandoned by mother and father hit me. I packed up my stuff and headed out towards Shele because she was going to train us today. I got there late and had to escape almost being killed by Char and Nagi. I jumped into the river and dived really deep, only to find Bulat at the bottom. I quickly swam away from him but he grabbed my leg and pulled me towards him. He then swam back up. I was breathing heavily due to him coming up so fast and unexpectedly. I jumped away and was coughing up water and I coughed up a rare fish. I put it back in the water and climbed a tree. Bad decision, Char jumped into the tree and put her dual blades up to my neck. I yelped in pain when I felt the pain of something hurting within me. Everyone backed away and I felt something emerge onto my skin, it was a mark of a dragon and words in a language that only I knew, it wrote,"He who bears the mark shall be the king of dragons." After I finished reading it, 3 dragon eggs fell into my hands. I quickly put them away in my bag and stopped yelping. I hid the mark of the dragon.'Great now three more mouths to feed!!' I hugged Bulat and then jumped away towards my room.
