I yawn walking to my room scratching my head pushing the door open instantly being greeted by a happy Waddles. "Hey bud I hope you did ok all by yourself tonight, I know I took long today." I say as he gives a snort and jumps on me making me giggle. "How about this" I start undressing into normal clothes "I go get us some ice cream and some chocolate chips." I say sliding on some slippers and a warm jacket I walk out of my room locking the door. I luckily never need to bring money to this store since I know the owner like the back of my hand, I walk down the street towards the small building.
I turn around to see two guys wearing black who look to be following me, I turn my head forward hoping they aren't following. I walk a bit faster towards the store looking back every few seconds seeing them still there, I start to worry hearing one of them jog.
Without looking I take off running towards the store but my legs don't carry me that far before I'm grabbed and pushed into a wall. I cry in pain grabbing my hip "give us your money or else" one of the guys says pulling me up aggressively "I don't carry money on me!" I cry making him grab my arm tightly, leaving bruises probably. "Get off her" I look seeing a girl holding a pistol at one of the guys "who the hell are y-" the guy starts but is stopped by the girl shooting his knee. The girl reaches for me "get out of this town before I call the police" she says leading me away from that area to somewhere it's more lit up.
"Thank you so much" I say looking up at her studying her features, she has blonde hair and has blue-ish eyes. "I'm Pacifica, you're welcome by the way" she says putting the pistol in her purse "you shouldn't be out this late, you know the town comes alive" Pacifica says making me nod "how about we get you home?" She asks "no I have to go get ice cream" I say making her give a face like she's saying 'really?'
"Fine let's go get your ice cream and get you home."
