"What are you doing here?" I asked sharply to the Light Dragonslayer standing in the Fairy Tail Guildhall's doorway.

"I wanted to see you." Sting murmured.

"W-Well, you can't. So leave." I tried to push him out, but he grabbed my hands.

"Ever since the games, I can't get you out of my head. I need to see you... at least once." He pulled my into a hug and nuzzled my hair.

"Don't send me away, (y/n)..." I looked up at him.

"I won't." He had pulled me outside and closed the door. "Sting, you made no sign of even wanting to be friends with me at the games. What caused this?" I asked softly.

"I don't know. Everything is so complex that I'm only sure of one thing." He replied, and he looked thinner and more tired than when I last saw him. Sting may have been sick, but his voice and actions showed no sign of it.

"What would that be?" I said, a bit sharply.

"That I love you." He pressed his lips to mine and I backed against the door.

"Sting, I-" I stopped and stared at him. I saw the light die from his eyes.

"I get it." He let me go.

"No, Sting, don't go. I love you, too."
