Fairy Tail's guild hall 

It was nearing that time of year again and Death Nova was more than just a little excited for the up coming holiday. Shade and Taylor were chatting with Yuki and Azurith on the kind of party they would have. This was a very special time of year because everyone bearing the name Vermillion got along. Taylor and Yuki stopped teasing each other and Shade didn't kill Lucifer every other minute, needless to say it rose suspicion among the guild.

"Hey did you hear that Death Nova has been getting along lately?" Lucy asked Erza and MiraJane. Mira looked at the blonde and scarlet haired girls in shock. "Your kidding right they have been getting along?!" Mira said in disbelief. Erza just looked up from her half eaten strawberry cake and called over Mye. "Mye dear we need you to go spy on Death Nova and see what the hell could possibly cause them to get along." "No problem Mom I will be back by dinner to report." Mye saluted and ran off.

"Gray have you heard that Natsu hasn't been getting into fights lately?" Gajeel asked Gray who had subconisuly stripped and was only in his boxers and with a fawning Juvia clinging to him. "Are you messing with me or something cause this is Natsu we are talking about." Gray chuckled. "That's what I thought when Bunny girl told me but then I said to Natsu that he is a dumbass and he just shrugged it off and ran to catch up to Death Nova." Gajeel continued. "Oh my god!"Gray hollered.

Mean While with Death Nova

The girls where gathered on Shade's bed and had four notebooks opened up with sketches on a few of the pages. "So Shade-chan what are you and Conner going as?" Yuki said with a teasing grin. "Well I am going as an Assassin and Conner is going as a swordsman. What are you and Lucifer going as?" Shade teased right back. "Um well I am going as a Vampire and Lucifer is going as a doorman." Yuki chuckled. "I am going as a soldier and I think Natsu is going as a sameri but I am not sure." Taylor added in. "What about you Azurith?" Shade asked. "Oh well I am going as a Neko maid, and I think Shi is going as Neko man in black. Then I heard Devil mutter something about a frankinstien." Azurith answered Shade with a grin. "So what are we going to make the house look like?" Taylor asked the group who all grabbed a pencil and their notebook to jott this down. "Well we could do a haunted house like last year." Yuki suggested. "Maybe we could do a ball theme with haunted house decorations." Azurith suggested after Yuki. Shade's eye lit up after what Azurith had said. "I think that would be a lot of fun." Shade said with an evil grin. "You know what we should do? We should invite Fairy Tail over and scare the living crap out of them." Taylor laughed and Yuki rolled on the floor laughing as well. "Oh they are going to be so scared!" Azurith shouted in excitement.

Now to Mye's horrible spy skills

Mye was sneaking around the Death Nova manor when she heard a scream of laughter than a thud. She was caught off guard and fell out of her tree and Conner was going for a walk when he was trampled by Mye. "Who the hell are you?!" Mye hollers at Conner. "I should be asking you the something miss." Conner retorted pushing Mye off of him. "I asked you first." Mye said stubbornly. "And you are trespassing." Conner said just as stubbornly. "You are too!" Mye shot. "No I am not I live here." Conner said in a matter of fact voice. "Um no you don't" Mye said in anger. "You sound just like Taylor before she brought me and Love home." Conner said with a red glint in his eyes. "Who the hell are you?" Mye yelled. The girls in Shade's room heard Mye yelling and all poked their head out of the window. "Love what the hell is going on down there?" Shade questioned. "This girl was spying on us." Conner said in an angry voice. "Mye why the hell are you here!?!" Azurith yelled. "My mom told me.... That's classified!"Mye said protectively. "Get the hell off our lawn Mye Fernarreds and stop messing with my fiancé!!" Shade yelled. "Your what?!" Mye demanded. "Just get off our lawn we will see you at the guild!" Taylor and Yuki yelled in unison. Mye was forced to go back to the guild, when she arrived she was swarmed by Lucy, Erza, and Mira. "What did you learn Mye!" Mira asked. "Um well I learned that Shade is engaged and that's about...." Mye said but was cut of by a squealing Mira.

Back at the Vermillions

"God so annoying!" Shade whined while being hugged by Conner. "I know right god the guild just can't keep their noses to themselves can they?" Yuki complained. "Doesn't feel like it they are trying to ruin our surprise!" Azurith yelled. "Do you guys want to call it a night?" Taylor asked while yawning. "Yeah sounds good." Yuki agreed grabbing her notebook and pencil and putting it on Shade's desk. Azurith and Taylor did the same and said good night and went to their rooms. "Night Conner." "Night Love."

Next day

Conner had gotten out of bed before Shade and made his way to the kitchen when he got there he went to the fridge and got out all the ingredients for French toast and bacon with eggs. When everyone got up they all made their way to the kitchen when they smelled French toast. "YES FRENCH TOAST!!" Shade yelled in happiness. "You can really tell when we are like 15 feet away." Shi said witty a sweat drop. "Duh!" Shade squealed. Everyone looked at Shade in shock because she was squealing.
