I was walking home from (f/s) practice. It was a little dark since the coach made us stay late. My parents would be mad if I was any later, so I chose to take a shortcut through an alleyway. I was half way through. So far so good. Until I was grabbed and forced against a brick wall. "Ow!" I yelled in pain from the impact of the wall on my back. "If I were you I would be quiet." The man said as he forced the back of a blade to a very sharp knife against my neck. I was completely terrified now, my mind being drowned in the worst scenarios I could think of. When I thought I was done for, his weight, along with the knife, were yanked from my body. I heard grunts and helps of pain from the darkness. "Get out of here." A low voice growled. The man stumbled to his feet and left the alley screaming. "Hello?" I called into the darkness. "Hello miss. Are you okay?" The low voice replied. For some reason that voice made me feel safe. "Yes I am. Thank you. Will you please come out so I may see you?" I asked kindly. "I'm not so sure that would be a wise decision. You would just run away like everyone does or would if they saw a freak such as myself." I could hear the sadness and hurt in his voice. "Please? I promise you I Will not run away." I gently responded. I heard a sigh, and before I knew it a humanoid turtle stood before me. My eyes widened as I looked him up and down. He had a blue bandanna and gorgeous sapphire blue orbs." You can run if you want." He said. I didn't want to break my promise to him, so I stayed where I was. "Why would I run? I think you're an amazing creature." I smiled kindly. He looked back and smiled. "I'm Leonardo, but you can address me as Leo."
I smiled a little wider. "My name is (Y/N). Nice to meet you Leo." I than looked at my watch. Oh my gosh! My parents are going to kill me! "Well Leo I have to go. Thank you again. It was nice meeting you!" And before he could respond I was already running home. Thanks guys! Please tell me if I did good!
