" Dad? Mom ? " I shout as I enter the house, I had just come home from school and it was my 16th birthday today. They had promised me a surprise when I come home and I was eager to get it.

" I am home. Where are you ?" I shout again.

" Go in your old room kid." I hear Dad's shout and rush towards my old room.

My old room. It was a beautiful small room where I stayed until I was 10 . It looked like it came straight out of an ancient fairytale. A flowery mural covering all the walls, a slanting window, a hanging chandelier with artificial glowing candles, a wooden tea set and a walk in closet. It was simple yet enchanting.

What could possibly be in my old room? As I enter my eyes immediately go to the basket lying on my bed covered with a cloth. I rush to it and remove the cloth.

I gasp in disbelief at the sight in front of me. A baby. So small and chubby, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes looking back at me dressed in a white onesie with a pink bow on her head.

I kneel down beside the bed as I slowly poke her cheeks and she smiles at me. She smiled at me. Oh my god.

I hear footsteps and immediately rush towards my parents wrapping them in a huge hug.

" Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is the best birthday gift ever."

My parents laugh hugging me back as I go back to the little angel. Growing up as an only child with no relatives , I had always craved having a sibling a little brother or sister to pamper, to play with .

I notice a pendant lying close to her and on looking closely it resembled a tree which reminded me of, "Willow." I look up at my parents as they stare at me questioningly. ( That's the pendant on side )

" Can we name her Willow? " I ask and my parents nod smiling.

" Willow Grace Winters , then it is."

" Miss Winters, this was found near the sight of accident. You might want to take a look at it."

The young police man states and I look up .

It had been two weeks, two weeks of pure torture. They had their funerals with a huge gathering, Brian and Ash were there by my side through out. People came and went but I just stood there staring at their graves.

I had to see my parents grow old, see me getting married , to see Willow becoming a teenager. Willow. My heart ached whenever I looked at her little grave covered with flowers . I missed her the most .

" Miss Winters." The man says again softly and I mutter a small sorry as I take the thing he had been asking me to look at.

I stare for a long time at the tree shaped pendant before a tear slides down my cheek.

I hear him sigh, " So I take it is yours." I just nod and he mumbles something before leaving without a word.

So much had happened in the last two weeks . I was now the legal owner of the entire estate as stated in my father's will. Willow's entire wealth went to fund a Cancer Hospital. My relatives literally popped out of nowhere , my parents rarely talked about anyone so it was a surprise to see them show up at their funerals and the purpose they showed up for disgusted me. My so called uncle protested about me owning the property but I won anyways. I could care less about the money but the estate and the forest was something my parents had deep love for. They had protected and taken care of it their entire lives. I will not let anyone take the biggest part of them away from me.
