I pulled into the parking lot of UGA. There were so many people, (so many gorgeous people).
"Stay Focused, Emma." My mother said, eyeing me. She must've noticed how I looked at some of the boys.
"Yes of course, Mother," I told her, giving her a smirk. She hates it when I do that.
We walk towards all the people in Green and a good looking girl named Carly speaks.
"Hey, and welcome to UGA. My name is Carly." She smiles at me, and she is clearly intimated by my mother in her 4 inch heels.
"Hey, I'm Emma and this is my mom, Amanda," I say while rolling my eyes at home my mother looks because I didn't include surnames in my formal introduction.
"What is your surname?" Carly asks looking at a list of names which I suspect shows the room number of the dorms.
"Darwish." My mothers says coldly.
"Interesting, Greek?" She asks, clearly interested.
"Persian" I laugh.
"Close enough," she laughs in unison with me.
"Can we get going please." My mothers says crossing her arms around her chest, unimpressed.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Yes of course." Carly says nervously.
I follow her up the stairs of the main office. She takes a few turns, oh god this is confusing I think as we turn on more corner.
