I sat in the TARDIS, waiting on the girl so we could go search the moon.
The girl with the long pink hair who got on my nerves all the time.
I sighed and started talking to the TARDIS.
"Where are we going this time, old friend?" I said and smiled as the TARDIS whirred to life.
"Sorry!" Her Scottish accent gasped as she ran in out of breath.
"Late as usual, Ms. Pond." I said and rolled my eyes.
"I said I was sorry!" She said in her accent yet again.
The TARDIS sensed my shift in mood and took off immediately.
"Where you taking us to this time, old friend?" I whispered and smiled as we touched down. Knowing my old friend had my back, I walked to the doors and through them open. Seeing the moon, I quickly closed them and turned to get the suits.
Tossing one to the girl, I started putting one on myself.
"Wha-?" She started before understanding it and putting it on.
"Let's go." I said. "Allons-y." I quickly climbed out of my TARDIS, and started running around the moon.
"What are you doing?!" Her voice came out clear over the headset in the helmet.
"Being free!" I responded and found a crater, with a spaceship in it. "Pond!!"
"Coming!!" She said and came over to me. "What is that?"
"I think, it's a spaceship." I said and started climbing down into the crater.
"What are you doing?" She said as she started following me.
"Investigating." I replied simply.
"Sarah!" She called and followed.
I started snooping and found the door. Knowing I'd need to move fast, I pulled Taylor in front of me and opened the door, quickly pushing her in, following and closing the door. We finally got in.
I heard a noise and took of my helmet. I started walking to the main room and heard the noise again.
"Be quiet." A male voice whispered and I started walking towards it.
"I'm scared." A smaller female voice said.
I started running then. I needed to see who it was.
Opening the door, I saw a blonde haired boy, no more than twenty, cradling a smaller, brunette girl to his chest.
"Mick." She said and I could tell she was fear stricken.
"Shh. It's okay Eve." He, Mick, said.
I looked around, noticing that there was only enough food for one person in the ship.
"How long have you two been stranded here?" I said and looked at the girl, who reminded me so much of myself.
"Not long." Mick replied.
"Do you want help?" I asked and crouched down to look at the girl more closely.
She had brown hair, much like my own, and brown eyes, much like a man I had known's.
"Sweetheart, do you have parents?" I asked.
"Daddy said Mommy didn't know 'bout me." She said in a voice so much like my own.
"Did Daddy have a name?" I asked.
"Ronald. Ronald Thompson." Mick replied.
I knew it. I knew he didn't just leave. He wasn't supposed to have to go through this alone.
"Sarah?!" Taylor called worriedly.
"In here!" I replied in a voice so foreign I forgot it was mine.
The little girl's, Eve's, head popped right up. She remembered this tone of voice. It was the tone I'd used when Ronald had left me.
Taylor walked in and stopped dead in her tracks.
"Mick?" She asked and just then I noticed the similarities.
I couldn't believe it.
"So how about we all go back to the TARDIS now?" I said and picked up the girl.
We all walked back there, Mick and Eve had put on their suits and Taylor and I had put on our helmets.
Upon opening and closing the doors, and taking off our suits, we sat down and the TARDIS took us home.
"So, how's it feel to be reunited as twins?" I asked and kept Eve close.
Mick looked at me funny before turning to his sister. "Surreal? I guess."
"Like a weight's been lifted off my chest." Taylor said and I nodded.
"Fun." I said.
We all sighed and I picked up a phone to call Ronald.
After a quick call to ask him why he hadn't told me, I sat down and pouted.
"Stop pouting." My Scottish companion said.
"Shut up." They laughed and I smiled.
At least part of our family was finally together.
