Yana Toboso the creator of Kuroshitsuji, originally intended the manga to be yaoi, but after her editors told her not to as it would not sell, she changed her mind.

for those who comment/messaged me saying "yana did not intent to make a yaoi." or some shit like that; I ALREADY KNOW . I realised that I've made a mistake like almost a year ago. I didn't bother to change this "chapter" bc I thought not a lot of people are gonna care but I was sure wrong :-) like I get a message once or twice every two or three weeks saying "lol the author did not intend to do that blah blah" on my DMS on ig, this chapter, and inbox and it's really annoying so stop.
