"Wewill start immediately with this project after the test next week. Iwill also bring something to make the work easier" Mr Payne said.Harry hadn't heard what kind of project it was but he groaned anyway.Another project? The last one just finished last week,and let's justsay that presentation in front of the class did not go as planned.

"MrStyles" Harry was interrupted by Mr Payne. "We are working onWorld War one, not two" The class laughed and Harry had never beenmore embarrassed. How could he miss that?

"Oh"He said and looked down at the ground. "I'm sorry but I have tofail you on this" Mr Payne said.

"Ohum, yeah" Harry mumbled. He went back and sat down next to Niall.

"Heydon't sweat it. You'll kill next one" Niall said kindly. "Thanks"Harry said. Could he go to sleep and wake up in China please?

"Finallylunch! I could eat a elephant right now" Niall exclaimed. Harryjust hummed and put his books into his bag. He did agree with hisbestfriend though, he was starving. "Let's go then" Harry saidand they walked together to the cafeteria.

WhenHarry walked into history the next week he saw someone sit on MrPayne's desk. His eyebrows raised at that. No student would ever dareto sit on the teacher's desk, was this a new guy who did not knowwhat he was doing? Harry hadn't seen him before so he guessed on newstudent. He went to sit next to Niall as usual and Niall looked athim.

"Whois that new guy? Why is he sitting on Mr Payne's desk?" Harry shookhis head. "No idea" He simply said.

Hethen turned to the class and started talking. "Hello everyone. Itold you last week that I would bring you something, or rathersomeone, to help you study. So this" He made a gesture with hishand towards the boy. "Is Louis and he is my pet hybrid. Harry'seyebrows shot up so high he thought he'd lost them for a minute. Ahybrid?

"Louishere is a cat hybrid and have ears and a tail" A tail? "He alsohave fangs and a variant of paws. He can be very shy but please don'tmake him feel intimidated, he will bite if he feels trapped"

"Helikes warm milk and cookies. His favorite food is chicken and hehates when someone touches his tail, not even I am allowed to touchthat. I bought him last year and we have kind of bonded during thattime. Hybrids have a tendency to bond with their owner, to feel astrong connection. They can be like a dog in that way, give them foodand love and they will be by your side forever"

"Soif everyone is calm and collected you can all say hello. He is veryshy so he probably won't answer any of your questions but I'm here ifyou have any" Mr Payne finished. Harry nearly ran out of his seatto get a minute with the beautiful creature, but unfortunately thewhole class did the same so the line to Mr Payne's desk quickly gotlong.
