chapter 3

Angels POV

I woke up early the next morning and quickly got dressed.hale leaves early and I didn't even bother to put makeup on my face.
I got in my car and took a deep breath.I know I have to talk to somebody but it just scary to think if happy found out.
I pulled up at the morrow-teller shop and went straight to Gemma.I busted in the office scaring Gemma.

Gemma: goddamn girl you scared me......hey what happened to your face
Me: I don't know what happened yesterday with hale......he hit,kicked and slapped me because I was smarting off at him because he was being a bitch with me
Gemma: that fucking pig do we need to tell-
Me: no gem no we don't just let me handle it
Gemma: why you know we'll put that fucker in his place
Me: you see that's just gonna stir up trouble with the cops and FBI and shit
Gemma: baby it ain't nothing we can't handle and we have brushed them off before and you already know-
Happy: gem clay needs to see you
Gemma: I'm coming and happy stay with her and don't let her out of this office got it
Happy: more than happy to

After gemma left it got quiet.my back was to happy. I felt him behind me.he turned me around slowly and I looked down.

Happy: why won't you look at me
Me: I can't hap I just can't or you'll blow a fuse

He put his hand under my chin and lift my face to look him in the eyes.i felt him gasp quietly.he rubbed my bruised eye.I felt the anger come off him.

Happy: who
Me: hale....but don't worry I can handle it
Happy: obviously not if he left I bruised eye and cheek angel
Me: please happy don't do nothing crazy

I bit my lip and looked down.I felt him pull my lip from between my teeth.

Happy: you know I hate that and what it does to me
Me: boy do I

I looked at him.he leaned in and kissed me soft.I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer.he licked my top lip for entrance and I let him in.the kiss so intense.he picked me up and pressed me against the wall.damn I missed this so much.how it used to be between me and happy.

Happy: I've missed you baby
Me: so have I

I put my forehead on his and took deep breaths.I closed my eyes and smiled.it felt perfect.til someone cleared their throats.
It was jax.

Me: uhhh hey jax
Jax: so hap what's going on
Happy: well you see jax ...you know deputy hale....her boyfriend....you see her face....he did that
Jax: he put a hand on you angel and you didn't call me
Me: he literally scared me.....ummm hap can you put me down
Happy: yea

I looked at jax.

Me: he said if I told happy it would be worse than this but I won't let him win that easy
Jax: don't worry....break up with him and go get your things out his place
Me: I need someone to go with me please
Happy: I'll go and no exceptions angel

I inwardly smiled at happy....but this little event don't mean we are getting back together so get that thought out your mind right now.
I mean I will consider it but it will take him earning my trust back in order for us to get back together. And for happy lowman......that will be hard for him to do......believe me I know
