Christopher's POV

I woke up with a start. I felt numb. It's like the feeling you get when you fall asleep on the wrong angle of your body, or when you recently woke up from a coma. In a way I did wake from a coma, one filled with terror and anxiety. I had another dream or rather nightmare. I can't really remember it, but from my sweat coated hands and position on the ground I can tell that it was one of 'those' dreams again.

I glanced up at my nightstand and saw that it was 7:15 AM. I sighed, 'Better get cleaned up and go to school, Mrs.Charles' scary when she's mad...'

So then I picked myself off the ground and sauntered off to the bathroom to get cleaned up. When I walked out of the bathroom I looked at my alarm clock and gasped, it was already 7:35 AM! I flung my towel aside, hasted my clothes on and went down to the kitchen to scarf down some breakfast.

When looking at a family picture on the kitchen counter, I sighed. Flashes started to appear. A man, a woman, a boy and...a little girl with the same pair of crystal blue eyes I see whenever I look at the mirror. Her eyes were directed at the camera but she wasn't staring at it in particular. She seemed aloof unfocused, out of the world even. With one hand she was holding the woman's hand in a firm grip and with the other clutching the boy's hand, like she didn't want to let him go. The man was happily grinning at the camera showing off his pearly white teeth.

They were all formally dressed. The woman wearing a baby pink strapless cocktail dress smiling brightly at the camera, her hair cascading down on her shoulders, the upper parts of her hair tucked neatly behind her head by a silver brooch. She was also wearing a thin layer of Make-Up. The little girl, wearing the same color of dress as her mother, was also sporting a cute little strapless dress reaching the knees, on her neck a silver amulet and her hair all wavy. Father and son were wearing the same kind of suit. Black with a blue tie and shiny black pair of shoes, both male's hair combed back neatly. They were so happy...So peacefull, like nothing could go wrong...'I wish I could go back to those days. When i was happy. Before 'it' happened...'

I snapped out it, looked at the picture again then at the ticking clock and sighed for the umpteenth time that day. 7:55 AM 'Great, looks like my plan for going at school on time for once is already going oh so freakin' well'. I thought sarcastically. I looked at the picture once more. Staring intensely at the little girl on the picture, I felt a shiver went up and down my spine. I quickly turned around, feeling like I'm being watched. I glanced up at the staircase, it was still kind of early and I didn't turn on the corridor lights so it was pretty dark up there. But I didn't miss them. I Can't miss them. I glanced up at the same pair of crystal blue eyes like the ones on the picture.
The little girl.
She looked fairly the same if you could overlook the was beautifully strapless dress that was now savagely torn and the blood smeared on her skirt and chest area. She didn't look that bad. Really, she didn't. She was just a little on the pale side and her unruly jet black hair hanging randomly in front of her bloodshot eyes gave away a kind of creepy aura. Seeing that she was snarling her dried cracked lips didn't complement her looks either. From afar she looked like that ghost from...'What was it again? Oh yeah...' The Grudge

I frowned. "I thought I told you to go away." I said. She narrowed her glazed over eyes and merely raised an eyebrow. I shook my head and looked at the clock again. 8:05 AM this time I just let out a groan of frustration 'Yep, i'm totally screwed.' I hastily poured some milk in a cup and drank it. Then I sprinted out the door. Looks like i'll not be having any breakfast today 'I only have like, 10 min to get to school on time. I'm so gonna get my ass handed to me by Mrs.Charles' I thought. It also didn't help that I live on the other side of the town.

When I was about to cross the streets I felt piercing eyes on my back and promptly turned around. Looking up at one of the upper windows of my house, I caught the ice blue gaze of the little girl the second time that day. She was just standing there. Staring at me with pleading eyes. begging me not to go. It broke my heart.

'Why, little sister? Why do you keep coming back? Why don't you ever listen to me and rest?...Why don't you stay away?'
