the car ride was awkward and silent , I looked out the window and listened to him rap the parts on the radio , he was really good , I got lost in his voice .
" how old are you ? " he broke the silence
" 16 , you ? "
" 18 about to be 19 in two days "
" that's wassup "
he pulled into his drive way
" I'll walk from here , thank you for the ride "
" I'm going to take you home , come inside real quick "
I slowly walked to the door
inside it was nice and smelt like men's cologne
" I feel like you're trying to ditch me that's kinda rude " he was staring deep into my eyes from across the room
the staring made me nervous which caused me to stutter and mumble something I didn't even understand
" ah you're one of those girls who freeze up when looked in the eye " he laughed
" aye can you do me a favor ? " he asked
" um yeah "
" go upstairs , go into my drawer and get me the all black box from in there "
" which room is it ? "
" there's only one room up there "
I hustled upstairs , when I opened the door I was surprised to see how organized it was , his room looked comfy and smelled amazing , like lavender
I saw the drawer behind the door I pulled and grabbed the black box , it was heavy
I cradled it and went downstairs
he sat on the couch downstairs , he looked up
" your room smells great "
" creep " he replied
" you ready to go ? "
I went to grab my bag but heard loud thunder which made me flinch
" I didn't even know it was raining " he said
we looked outside to see it was pouring down incredibly hard
" looks like you're stuck here "
