Fluttering My Eyes Open 

Pagkatapos kong mag ayos ng sarili ko ay bumaba na ako para samahan si mamang mag breakfast.

Mom was already done preparing it and was just waiting for me. I smiled and greeted her. "Morning mom." She did the same, but did a effort to kiss me on my forehead. It's her everyday routine and I love it. She is a very sweet mother.

After breakfast, I bid goodbye to her. I told her that I have a date with my best friend. Guess who?

 I stared at my baby for a while admiring it. My Ferrari F12 berlinetta. Bago ako sumakay ay napatingin muna ako sa langit. "What a perfect day it would be..." I mumbled.

Habang busy ako sa pag da-drive ay nag ring yung phone ko. A sly smile crept on my face as I saw who's the caller. "Yeoboseyo?" My tone had hint of excitement. I hope he would not notice. "Yah! Where are you? Lagi mo na lang akong pinaghihintay." He said in disappointed voice. Sehun, is my said best friend yet not to mention my boyfriend. Well... Mas sanay kasi ako na kaibigan ko sya. I still get flustered towards the new relationship we have, but I love him. That I'm sure of. "Arte mo. Usapan 9:00 AM, eh 8:39 pa lang!" Saglit na natahik sa kabing linya. "Huh?" Painosente niyang sagot. "What? You gonna tell me that your watch time is 15 minutes advance again and you had forgotten about it?" I snapped before him. "Oh that-" I just cut him off of whatever his about to say. No need explanation, I know him very well. "Whatever Sehun, fifteen or twenty minutes pa bago ako makarating jan. Libangin mo muna sarili mo para 'di ka mainip." Suggestion lang. Traffic kasi.

"Nalilibang na nga akong kausap ka eh." 

"Just to remind you that I'm driving, Sehun" 'Di ko man nakikita ngayon ang white cottoned face niya ay I can predict that his pouting right now and it's not cute though his adorable (in a manly way, meron ba nun?).

"Fine. Be careful and hurry up!" He said in surrender, but with eagerness at the end.

"Najung ah boja." He replied with a "Hmmm... See you too," and the call ended.

I returned my main focus on the road again nang bigla akong makaramdam ng pagkahilo at panlalabo ng mata. There's something aching at the back of my head and my body, it feels like its throbbing.

Nagulat na lang ako dahil biglang tumigil yung malaking truck sa harap ko, eh naka high speed pa naman ako. I lost my attention kaya 'di ko talaga napansin yung speed ko at yung truck. Then it happened. Parang nag slow motion ang lahat kahit ang totoo ay ang bilis ng pangyayari. My car crashed. Tumama yung side ng ulo ko sa manibela. Before I lost my conciousness, I once again glimpsed at the sky. A black circle is slowly devouring the brightest star that shines my world every morning, and now we're  both being eaten by a complete utter darkness.

Matapos mag lakbay sa walang hanggang kadiliman ay sawakas nahanap ko ang kakaibang liwanag o dapat ba ay bagong liwanag?

I fluttered my eyes open. The first thing I saw was a white ceiling. Nag salubong ang dalawa kong kilay. Cream ang kulay ng aking bed room ceiling. Then it hit me, the accident. Probably I'm in the hospital. Tumingin ako sa paligid ko at natagpuan si Sehun sa tabi ko na natutulog habang hawak ang aking kanang kamay. I smiled, but it quickly faded as I soon realized that my naughty devil Sehun doesn't have an angelic face. He's too handsome to be an angel. Handsome as hell pwede pa. 

But then again, who is this guy beside me that looks like my best friend slash boyfriend?
