kathryn's pov
It's monday and katatapos lang ng classes ko. I found myself standing in front of my "used to be" fav. resto.
Should i really meet my father? After all di man lang nya ako tinawagan nung nasa hospital ako. i could have died. But like mom said he's still my father.
"goodluck mahal. Kaya mo yan text me pag tapos ka na sunduin kita. Mahal kita❤️" daniel texted me.
Pumasok na ako sa loob at sinabi ang reservation ng daddy ko.
"This way ma'am" sinundan ko ang waiter at sa di kalayuan i saw him... Having fun with a girl she's suerly 8-9 yrs old.
We used to be like that until he left us...
"thank" i said sa waiter nag nod sya at umalis na. Sa pagsabi ko nun tumingin sa direksyon ko c daddy at tumayo para yakapin ako.
"Anak. my princess i've missed you."
i'm not quiet sure if i hug back ko sya or not.
kumalas na sya sa yakap at umupo na kami sa table.
"Jess this is your ate kathryn" sabi ni dad sa bata na katapat ko. Cute sya maputi at mahaba ang buhok. Cguro maputi nanay nito.
"Hi ate kathryn" sabi nito
i smiled back "hi jess."
"So hows life anak? i heard boyfriend mo ang anak ni mariel at robin."dad
"Ah yeah c daniel."
"When can i meet him?" dad
"Ah eh.. Soon? we can set another dinner."
"that sounds great." he smiled. Maraming nagsasabi na pag tumatawa ako kamuka ko daw tatay ko.
"How about your headache nawala na ba.?" And in that moment i just lost it... May tumulo na luha.
"princess why are you cryin? "dad
"Nothin dad i just... i just recalled na wala ka sa tabi ko nung nasa hospital ako... it's just mom na andun." i said habang pinahid ang luha ko..
"Jess here is my ipad oh. Play ka muna" dad
"I'm sorry princess. Jess had a stage play and.." dad
"Iknow i know you don't have to say it all over again. You have your priorities now. And i'm not in it. Alam ko naman tanggap ko naman." i said and looked down.
"Hindi sa ganyan. tanggap naman ng tita jade mo eh. In fact sabi nya umuwi ako..."dad
"No! mom didn't said that. Ate kathryn mom told dad to stay in america. Or else..." jess
"JESS STOP IT!" dad
"see dad c jess na nagsabi. Kung taga sunod ka rin lng naman pala sa kabit mo eh dun ka na nga lang sa america. I don't even know kung anong ginagawa mo dito."
"I'm sorry anak. Pero dahil dun nag hiwalay na kami ng tita jade mo...Kaya ako umuwi dito pAra mag bagong buhay. And jess will stay with me. "
"Yes ate. I'm staying in the philippines isn't that fun?" jess
"What about your mom?" tanong ko
May dumating na yaya
"Jess go with your yaya muna. I have to discuss something with your ate ha."
nag nod c jess at sumama sa yaya nya.
"Nung naghiwalay kami, sa akin sumama c jess ayaw nya sa mommy nya. And of course pinag awayan namin kung kanino mapupunta c jess pero ako ang nanalo, dahil hindi sapat ang Pera ni jade para i taguyod c jess. Of course malapit lapit na mag high school at college ang kapatid mo."
"Ok i understand. And your gonna stay forever in philippines?"
"for now oo dito na mag aaral c jess at sana matanggap mo sya" dad
"Sya kaya kong tanggapin pero di ako sure sayo dad... Masakit yung ginawa mo. I lost my memory and may posibilidad rin datin na hindi na yun bumalik. i'm sorry Dad please give me time..."
he nodded.
i texted dj na kaunin na ako.
"I think i have to go Dad. See you around. And i'll text you if i'm free to bond with jess." tumayo na ako
And nagpaaalam saka lumabas...
andun na agad ang kotse ni dj
binuksan nya ang pinto at pinapasok ako.
"How was it?" dj
"He's gonna stay here for good. With my sister. Naghiwalay daw sila nung kabit nya at inuwi nya dito ang anak nila. Na c Jess. Wala akong problema sa kapatid ko. Pero kay dad i can't forgive him clearly.. i just don't know..." dj hugged me.
"take time.." he said at umalis na kami..
