The Forbidden Love

Chapter 1

                                                                               

It was a cold raining day at West Henderson High School; the entire junior was going to Blue Ridge College to see what it take to take college classes. I was debating on going or not, I though it was going to boring, I decided to go anyway the entire junior class got on the buses and headed to the college. I had no clue who I was about to meet and see again.

When we got to the college I met up with my best friend Andrea and we sat there and decide what class we wanted to take we decided to do Marines Firefighting and Music. All Henderson County schools were there. After they talked to us we went to are first class, so after fighting the crowd we walked to the first class we had to walk outside to the other building when we got inside we were soaked. We walked up the stairs and when we walked in we notice a lot of them were from West. We found are friend Chris and sat there and talk to him. I turned around to see who else was there then I caught his eye I smiled at him and he smiled back and I went back to talking to my friends. Then he asks me “what’s your name” I answer back” Jasmine Phillips” “You don’t remember me “I shook my head “no I don’t “He laughed and said “Your mom threaten to shoot me 3 yrs ago, when we use to go to church together, remember Chris Carmack  .” My heart stopped I couldn’t believe it was him I haven’t seen him in 3 yrs I can’t believe I get to see him after all that time. I smile and my friend Andrea asks “Who is that? “A very old friend “. I introduce my friend to him and we start talking about anything and everything.  

One of the teachers from the college comes in and says that no one teaching this class and you can go to a different class, so Chris and a bunch of his friend get up to leave I tell him “You leaving?” “Ya I am.” I get up and he walks over. He pulls me to him and hugs me I felt my blood run hot and a shiver goes down my back.” Do you want to hang out with me?” “No I better go.” “Please stay I have not seen you in forever” “Fine ill stay” So me and Chris sit there and talk. I am thinking my day couldn’t get any better but it did.

It was about time for the next class and Chris and I was having a good time when they told us it we needed to go to are next class, so we walked out into the hall and to are next class were standing out in the hall talking and he says “Well I need to find my friends.” “Do u know were they are” “No” “Do you want to hang out with me for the day.” “Sure I would love to” So we go into the class and sit in front of Andrea and Chris K. In the class this guy from a different school kept messing with Andrea I laughed cause I though she was going to beat the crap out of him. “Will you shut up and leave me alone.” “Why should I? “ “Um dude I wouldn’t mess with her she will beat the crap out of you.” I know she would do it to so I tried to warn him. Chris and I were talking and I couldn’t stop smiling. “What u smiling at?” “Oh nothing just thinking.” “What are you thinking about Jas?” “Just on how long it’s been.” “I know and I missed you so much.” “Really?” “Ya I really did.”I smiled at him; he smiled at me I felt my heart beat faster in my chest. Every time we talked I could barley talk and when he looked at me with that smile I felt my heart beat fast in my chest.

It was the last class we went to before we went back to school it was music. We sat in the back, with Andrea and one of her friends. Chris was sitting there and boy was it boring it was a drag. Chris about fell asleep and I did to. Andrea shoes made a sound on the floor it was aloud “SQUEAK” I jump and almost fell out of my chair. Chris looked at me and was trying hard not to laugh I was haven a hard time to. Well the class was over I grab Chris’s hand and pulled him down the class room. When we got to this corner I stopped and turned around and looked at him I smiled and he smiled to he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me close. “Chris?” “I wanted to do this since I saw u again” He leans in and my heart stops his lips met mine it was a romantic kiss. The kiss seemed like it lasted for hours but it was really only 5 mins. I smile “Man I forgot how much of a good kisser you are.” “Ya I know.” We walk out to the buses to try to find my bus. We find my bus, “Jasmine can I see your phone.” I give him my phone and he puts his number in it.”Text me later if you want ““I sure will Chris.” “Well I got to go ill text you ok?” “Sure bye jas, kiss me before you go?” I lean in and give him a kiss he hugs me and I walk onto the bus, my check are burning. I sit down in my seat. I take out my phone and text Chris I text him. I text him till I get back to school.

When I get back to school I see my friend Joe Frady “Hey Frady” “Hey Jas how was the college thing?” “ It was fun I saw one of my old friends “” Cool “ “ Ya well I got to go back to U.S history so ill talk to you later.”” Ok Jas talk to you later.” I go to my 3rd period and Allen my cousin was sitting on the couch in the classroom and he looks upset “Allen what’s wrong?’’ “My girlfriend cheated on me with Cody J.” “What?!” “Ya and I don’t know what to do.” “Well sweetie at least she told you and you didn’t find out from someone else.” “Ya true but I am going to beat Cody’s ass.” “I know you want to but is it really worth it.” He shook his head and gave me that look. “Ya I do it is total worth it.” “Ok Allen if u say so.” I just shake my head and watch the movie. I go to lunch then go to my 4th period. It was boring I texted Chris almost the whole period.  When I got home that day Chris called me “Hey” “Hey what’s up” “Just hanging out.” “Oh, cool” “Ya” “Would you like to come to church with me one Wednesday or Sunday night” “Sure” “Sweet can’t wait” I couldn’t wait for Chris to come to church with me. I had no clue what I was getting myself into.

So Chris and I talked a lot and he wasn’t able to come to church withy me for awhile because he had to help his parents and babysit for his girlfriend. See Chris girlfriend had a baby and he helped take care of it because she didn’t know who the father was. I was nice and didn’t say anything to him about her. He told me about the baby. I though the baby was cute. He told me that that Wednesday he could come to church with me. I was so happy that I was going to get to see him and hang out with him. I picked out the best outfit for Wednesday and I wished Wednesday would hurry up and get there.
