The trees that sway in the wind tap the window. Lightning strikes ground leaving long and winding shadows with faces as it seems. Sammy looks at the black ball of fur at the foot of her bed. "Psst! Mr. Midnight..!" The cat looks up and swings his head to look at Sammy. "Myaa?" Sammy pats an empty pillow next to her, gesturing for Mr. Midnight to come lay down.
The cat slowly waddles over to the pillow, sniffing it before laying on it. Sammy scoots closer pulling the cat into a hug. Mr. Midnight jumps up at the strike of lightning causing a loud KRAKAM!! Sammy pulls him closer, quickly calming him, almost faster than he did to her.
