Please read: Definitions of the chapter:

An heir apparent is a person, male or female, who is first in line of succession and cannot be displaced from inheriting by the birth of another person.

An heir presumptive, by contrast, is someone who is first in line to inherit a title but who can be displaced by the birth of a more eligible heir.

Joan POV
"Powers?... you have powers?" Mary-Margret questioned me. "Yes, I figured since I heard Emma talking about magic in the car I could tell you..." I said. "Oh sweetheart it's okay" Mary-Margret responded embracing me. "It is..." I sighed in relief. Mary-Margret laughed, "Joan, Emma has powers too!" Okay this I was not expecting.

Emma POV
Well she has powers, and she lost them. That would explain how she reacted earlier. "Joan can you tell us what happened" I ask. Poor kid I probably don't know the half of what she's been through."Well..." Joan starts. "I am a child of true love and pure magic." Sh hesitates, "You can trust us" I re-assure her. "No" Joan says, "I..."

"You can tell us, remember Emma has magic too" Mary-Margret comforts Joan. "My name is Helga Isolda Gerda, heir apparent and Princess of Arendelle as well as their future Queen" she finishes with sadness. Future Queen? "Well.." Mary-Margret says " Your title it's self it's gonna be confusing!", "No" Helga Isolda Gerda says "Just call me Helga!"
