Anya

The young girl woke up with a shiver and pushed herself up, remembering where she was. She looked over to some chairs to see a sleeping Mikal, curled up, in a very uncomfortable looking position.

Right as she was about to ring for the nurse, the doctor came in.

"Oh, you're awake?"

No duh, Sherlock, or I wouldn't be looking at you or Mikal now would I?

"Uh, yeah. I am, and has he been there the whole time or-?"

The doctor answered with a nod, "From what Deborah told me, yes. I mean, when I told him the two of you should stay overnight, I didn't mean like that."

"Well, um, I was wondering- uh, can we leave today?"
The brunette did not want to be there any longer than she had to be. To say she disliked hospitals was an understatement, because she hated them. It's a place of sadness and pain. Your loved ones died here and Anya had been to hospitals way to many times for her liking.

"I'm Doctor Jenswell, by the way. I'm not sure I ever, properly, introduced myself. Anyhow, you can leave today, but before you do I'd like to run a few tests on the both of you, just to make sure your vitals are fine and your bodies are stable. You are gonna need some prescription medication for antidepressants and for your cuts."
She nodded and listened to him, thankful that he was so kind and understanding, not seeming judgmental of what she had tried, well, failed to do.

"I'll bring in the nurse and if you could wake him up that be great. So, once Deborah gets in here and runs the tests and makes sure you're stable and then I check and say you guys are stable, then you and your boyfriend can leave." He snorted the last part and watched as the girl stumbled over her words, flustered, about what he said.

WHAT, HA, NO. He is NOT my boyfriend. Ha ha, no. Uuggghgghghg, why did he have to say that?

"Doctor, he is so not my boyfriend, I already told you we just met."
I can't believe this dude. First Deborah and now him.

"Sure, he's not sweetie, I see the way you guys look at each other. You're just like my sixteen year old who swears she's doesn't like her brother's best friend."

SCOFF, he did not just-I can't beli- I am- ugh. Asdfghjllcvbnuughhhg.

She looked at her doctor speechless and blushing like never before. The older man just stared back at her with a smirked and spoke, "I'll be back with the nurse and be sure he's up by then."
He left the room with a chuckle, shaking his head at the young girl's denial.

Buttface, making me blush and stuff. Ugh, whatever, now to wake up Mikal. I don't want to be rude and smack him, but if he hasn't women uo while I was talking to Doctor Jenswell, then he must be a heavy sleeper. What to do, what to do.

She leaned over a bit and decided to go with the gentle approach first, but as she was about to she just couldn't help but stare. He was so handsome, with his messy semi long hair, that had a slight wave to it. And he had freckles dusting his nose and cheeks, with his nicely trimmed eyebrows and lovely jaw line. Anya hadn't realized she was caressing his face until his beautiful hazel, almond shaped eyes opened and he looked straight into her darker ones.

His raspy morning voice rang through her ears, like a sweet melody, "Good morning, beautiful."
Now, that had definitely surprised her.

She jumped back quick muttering quiet apologies, which he brushed off.

Hijo de pu- what the hell am I doing caressing his face like that?
Her face whipped away from his with a red glow of embarrassment.
"Hey,'' his sweet voice brought her out of her thoughts, "I'm not mad if that's what you're thinking. I don't mind you being that close to me, actually that was one of the best ways I've woken up by in a long time. It's a lovely thing to wake up to such an amazing face."
