Today was a fairy tale

Nightmares scare me.

Mal fell asleep as soon as the movie ended, I really hope she enjoyed our date. I can't believe she said she loves me!!! I feel so special. When I realize that she is asleep I go and take my shower, after I finished with my shower I get dressed and put a blanket on Mal. I made sure to have one handy. I come to a realization when I am putting the blanket on her, she is even  gorgeous when she is asleep. I lean down to kiss her good night but she starts getting all flustered. Then she says something, 

"No Ben don't do this please! I love you! I had my first kiss with you! You are the only man I have ever loved! Please don't do this!" Then she starts crying. 

I reach down and shake her slightly " Mal it's ok, wake up," I tell her.

" Huh? What happened?" She asks through sniffles 

" I was about to go to bed down there and you started talking and crying in your sleep." I reply

" You heard everything?" She asks  cringing.

" Ya, what was that about?"

" It was nothing"

" Mal I know you better than that, and plus after what I just heard I think you owe me an explanation."

" Ok fine. This is so  embarrassing, but here I go. So we were married and my mother had just died so the council held an immediate assembly. They agreed that since my mother couldn't pay off her debt to Aurodon that the debt would be passed on to her only living heir, me. So they put a spell on you forcing you to be mean and hostile. They made you tell me you never loved me, and I could rot on the isle of the lost for all you care." She managed to get that out before she burst out crying again.

I sat there for a minuets, I payed attention to the whole thing of course! My mind kept wandering back to the part about marriage though. It's not like I haven't thought about it before, but now that I know how Mal feels I'm a little more sure of my feelings. "Come here" I say "That will never happen. No one is ever going to take or push you out of my life. Ever!" Her sobs have stopped and she is holding on to me. "I'm going to head to sleep" I say pointing to the make shift bed I made.

" Can you sleep with me tonight? Nothing more, it's just that maybe if I have something good near me my dreams wouldn't be so bad." She says

"You don't have to ask me twice!" I say chuckling.

"I love you!" She tells me giggling.

I kiss her hard, " I love you too" I say between kisses.

After I say that we snuggle up together and fall asleep.
