The ALDC Performing Arts School

Chapter One

Third person POV
Maddie and Mackenzie were already up and ready by 6:30 and right now all they were doing was talking in Mackenzie's room. "I feel like I haven't talked to you in months" Maddie exclaims "that's because you haven't" Mackenzie says crossing her arms "I'm sorry Kenzie, I'll make it up to you, I promise I'll take you shopping on our next day off" Maddie says with a massive grin plastered on her face

"You say that every week and you never do" Mackenzie says her face showing no emotion at all causing Maddie to frown "girls it's time to go!!" Their mum announced from downstairs. Both  girls grab their bags before heading downstairs and heading to straight to the car after yelling goodbye to the rest of their family

As soon as the girls stepped into the studio with the rest of their friends, all of them knew something was off, for one Miss Abby and Gianna weren't at the front desk to greet them and inside the studio room the pyramid wasn't set up.

The girls shrugged it off ruling it off as Miss Abby being late again. The girls all went out to the den to start stretching.

"Hey did you guys hear about that rumour going around that Miss Abby was going bankrupt and was planning on selling the ALDC" Jojo said out of nowhere "personally I don't believe it for a second, I mean why would she be bankrupt the ALDC is better than ever" Jojo added everyone nods in agreement. Before anyone else could share their opinion they were called in for pyramid

Miss Abby was standing in the front of the room next to the now set up pyramid. "Alright girls let's start. At the bottom Maddie" Miss Abby said ripping off the piece of paper to reveal a picture of Maddie "Maddie I was very disappointed with not only the way you performed but also the way you behaved" all the girls were confused except for Maddie and Mackenzie, who knew exactly what she was talking about.

Mackenzie felt bad for her sister especially after the way she spoke to her this morning she was just tired of people who make promises but never come through, but she knew that was no excuse. Mackenzie offered Maddie a small reassuring smile as if to say 'don't worry I'm sure this is just a one time thing' but Maddie was strangely okay with it

"Next is Kendall" Miss Abby ripped off the piece of paper to reveal Kendall's face "you were off in the group dance the whole time and your feet weren't pointed enough" Miss Abby explained, she wasn't as loud or mean as usual which the girls found strange "next is Kalani" Miss Abby ripped off another piece of paper to reveal Kalani's face "you need to work on your faces because that was a big part of your solo and you failed" Miss Abby still wasn't being as mean and loud as usual, maybe a little harsh but that's it

"Second row is Nia and Jojo" Miss Abby said while ripping the pieces of paper to reveal Nia and Jojo's faces "good job in the duet girls it was beautiful, I couldn't take my eyes off of you two" Miss Abby said with a smile, Nia and Jojo truly have come a long way they were both amazing girls and amazing dancers to their friends and family.

"And last but not least Mackenzie" Miss Abby said ripping off a piece a paper to reveal Mackenzie's picture. Maddie and Melissa were grinning from ear to ear and clapping. Maddie gave her little sister a hug

but the happy atmosphere didn't last very long when  two men in police uniforms entered the room "Miss Miller you are under arrest you have the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used against you in court" one of the officers said handcuffing Miss Abby.

All the girls remained silent as if they were the ones the officer was talking to. Gianna quickly got the girls to go back into the den while their mothers tried to sort out what was going on

No one said anything as they all sat in a circle staring at the ground until "what just happened?" Nia asked looking up causing everyone to look up and look  each other " I don't know" Kalani replied. Everyone was lost and confused without Abby "what are we going to do" Mackenzie asked "I wish I knew" Maddie replied
