Today
A lot will happen
I will wake up
Go to school
Take my English final
And get an A
Even though English
Is not my favorite subject
And I won't expect that.
I will walk out of school
Feeling relieved
That junior year
Is over.
Maggie and I
Will get in the car
And my dad
Will drive us away
As my mom
Reads her map.
We will sit
In the car
For hours
Listening to the radio
Singing loudly
Eating food
And sleeping.
My mom
Will call
Every hotel she can
Until she finds one
For us to stay at
It will be midnight
