Chapter Eight: Innocence....

I remembered, how puzzled I was when I over heard that I was some what the so-called 'Wanted Criminal'. How did I get in this mess in the first place? Minding my own business in a small version of a famous jewelry story and then BAM! Got arrested....But for what? I don't remember doing anything wrong or illegal for all that matter. This is bound to be a mistake.

Here I am, STILL cuffed and more importantly, being guarded by that same police guy that embarrassed me back at the airport. I can't tell you
how much this pissed me off. I've been in this cruddy police station for over an hour and a half, waiting for....what am I waiting for exactly? I tried asking, but of course there was no response.

I can't tell you how much times I tried convincing the guy how I'm innocent and just heading to school at Time Square. I mean come on, I study hard. REALLY hard to be exact. My curfew is always at seven, thus I hardly get in trouble with my parent. So yeah, I'm a, what you called, 'goodie-two-shoes'. So what? Either way I should at least have the privilege to get to Mobian University, peacefully, and not getting in any trouble. But what did I get? This......

I have to get out of here in some point! I mean the plane will leave in the next....Four hours! Plus, Cream is probably worried sick knowing her. Tails maybe but Sonic.... Man, I don't even want to know, nor that I wanna care what he's doing. Knowing him, he's probably laughing his guts out. Jerk. As I continued sitting there, patiently, I noticed that the policemen had swapped places. Here's my chance!

"Um...Excuse me, but, look... I'm innocent, like I said to the cop over and over again, I'm just an average teen, heading to Time Square, to be a student at Mobian University. So can you please tell me how to prove my innocence before the flight leaves tonight?"

Before he could reply, we heard the door that was hardly banged opened by- seemed to be three teens- rushing in. there was commotion all about over there. Could it be? Before I knew it, Sonic, Cream and Tails came rushing in. Cream's eyes were filled with tears.

"A-Amy! Are you okay? P-Please say that you are!!" The rabbit pleaded as she began to wipe the tears away, though they keep coming.

"Cream told us what happened so we start rushing and looking for a taxi and well we're here!" Tails explained. "There was a lot of police stations so it kind of took us a while to be in the right one."

Boy oh boy, I can not tell you how please I am in seeing my friends. Even Sonic of all people. AH! There's proof right there in getting out of- yeah, I need more. But how. No cope isn't gonna tell me how to get out of...oh wait I forgot that the Mobian was going to tell me something. But before I got to ask again, surprisingly Sonic beat me to it.

"Come one sir, if I know Amy, which I do, she's probably the one of the most innocent Mobian I met. Heck- she's so boring she hardly goes out." Hurtful but true. "My point is, Isn't there someway in which we or her could prove her innocence before the plane leaves?"

I was surprise the way how 'jerk-hog' weirdly but truly stood up for me. Though, this isn't the first time. It was like seven years back when I was a kid. With literally no friends. I haven't met Cream nor Tails yet at that moment. Because of my lack of socializing, I was bullied. A lot more when I was in high school. But those kind of bulling didn't bother me as much as it should.

Their were simple. And when I say simple, I mostly mean pathetic. I was like 'seriously? Can't do better?' They would hide my school supplies; which was simple since I could just swiftly raise my arm and report to a teacher, getting them in trouble. They would also put a 'Kick-Me' sign or any other words behind my back which was stupid since I could feel and indicate it very easily and ripe it of. And sometimes-oh who am I kidding- most of the times all the kids would group together and called out names which was I found it useless considering that I always walk with a pair of headphones and could just ignore them.
