Chapter 4

KY P.O.V

Eight years had passed since Allison and I moved to live with Grandpa and Grandma and today is December 10 my 13th birthday. Which we are having a party tonight for, with several people from the company that is being passed down to me by my father. Its 9:30 pm and the party starts at 10:00 pm and I went for a walk ignoring all the text messages probably from Allison saying " bring your little but back to the house ASAP" and laughed at that thought and started walking back home. When i reached home I found Mr. Akuma and some security guards yelling at me saying " where have you been.. we've been looking for you all day" I responded " all I did was go for a walk to get some air" when I said that all Mr. Akuma did was give me a strange look and told me to go in the house since Allison is going crazy. So I walked into the house and as soon as I did here come's my wonderful sister Allison yelling her soul out saying " I text you a thousand times.. where have you been?!?! answer me!" so I told her that I went for a walk and all she did was just give me a strange look.. just like Mr. Akuma did and told me to change into the suit that was in my room on the bed. So I walked upstairs into my room and got change and before i walked outside the room I thought to myself why they were giving me those looks.. " I guess they figured me out" I thought because the only reason I went out for a walk was because I remember my fifth birthday and my mother death and it just gave me a headache and so i just went for a walk trying to cool my head off. I was kicked out of my thinking because Allison come's barging into my room saying " come on birthday boy.. we can't start the party without you" I shook my head at that and walked down the hall with Allison petting my head and then we reached the party room with everyone staring at Allison and I looking "so cute" as my Grandma said to us while walking towards the stage. When i stood on the stage next to Allison my Grandfather said " we will now begin the lovely brother and sister dance" pointing at Allison and me.. I was confused for a second because I knew nothing about a dance but I remember that Grandpa kept on taking Allison and I to dance class so I guess that's why. So Allison and I walked off the stage onto the dance floor where everyone made room for us and we started dancing. All I could hear was people saying " wow" at how graceful it was but then I remember that Allison and I were the best dancers in the class even better than the professional dancers...before I knew it we were finished and everyone gave us around of applause as we walked up the stage stairs and sat down and listened to Grandpa saying " thank you all for coming.. please enjoy yourselves" after he said that I went outside for some air but wasn't allowed to leave the premises since I didn't stay in the house before so i just walked around the pathway near the pond and found myself seeing a beautiful girl fighting four drunk guys..when I saw all I did was watch until one of the guys pulled a knife out and held it close to her neck that's when I got into the mess.I ran towards the guy and placed him into the headlock and put him to sleep and starting fighting the other guys and knocked them out and when I did I went to help the girl up but she swung at me so I dodged and grabbed her hand and noticed that I was hurting her so I let go immediately and then she swung again so I dodged and went behind her and grabbed her by the waist and said " will you stop trying to hit me.. I'm not going to hurt you like those guys tried to" but of course she didn't listen and so I let go of her and she faced me and when I saw her face.... I was in shock that I couldn't even move until my Grandpa came with what it seemed like Emily's father and said " I guess you already said hi to each other" and they laughed as I looked at the girl again and said " Emily?" and she said " that's all you can say to your childhood friend?" then out of nowhere her father said " also your fiancé " when he said that Emily and I both looked at him and my Grandpa said " yes my boy.. She is your fiancé" when he said that I looked at how Emily cheeks were so red and all I could think of how cute she looked when the moonlight glazed on her with such a beautiful dress on.I felt my heart beating faster and faster and my Grandpa looked at us and said " okay love birds let's get back to the party" after he said love birds my heart was racing and felt like it was going to explode. As soon as we walked into the house everyone stared at Emily and I, which was kind of freaky...but I already figured that they knew that she was my fiancé. When I closed the doors Emily went to the punch bowl before I did so I didn't go get a drink because I felt weird talking or being near her after what just happened..but of course that had to change because right as soon as I sat in a chair my wonderful sister Allison makes an announcement saying " it's time for the new couple to dance" and when I heard I yelled uncontrollably " What!" and everyone stared at me and started smiling at me and I just walked away until Grandma yelled at me saying that I wasn't being nice to the guests and told me that's not how I should be acting so I apologized to everyone and Allison continued and so I asked " what kind of dance?" she said " the Salsa" I looked at her with a evil look because she knew that the Salsa requires you and your partner to be real close to each other... so at that moment I was hoping that Emily didn't know how to Salsa so I said " what if she doesn't know how to Salsa?" and then she ask's Emily if she knew how and she said yes....I almost died but I had to face the fact that I lost to Allison and dance with Emily.So Allison played the music and Emily and I started dancing but the only trouble I was having was the fact of how close our body's were...then Emily said " Happy Birthday" with a smile on her face and all I could say was thanks because I wanted to see her beautiful smile which I got to see this very night and at the end it turned out amazingly...I got to dance with the most beautiful girl in the world and she's my fiancé...I felt that with her that I could forget the pain and reopen my heart but the problem was that I knew how I felt but I didn't know how she felt and that could change everything.Before I knew it the song was over but I didn't want to let go of her because I felt like if I let her go she would be gone for good..but if you love something let it go and if comes back it's your's if it doesn't then it never was..so I let go of her and smiled and I saw her cheeks turn red and I wonder if I did something or if she's sick so I felt her head and asked " are you not feeling well?" she looked at me like I was stupid and said "no, why you ask?" I said " well.. it's because your cheeks are red" she gasped and said " I'm fine" but I could tell that she was lying but I didn't ask any further because I trust her enough that when she tells me she's fine I believe her. Everyone was just staring at us because we were in the middle of the floor talking and I touched her forehead and I guess in their point of view it seemed like something else so I said " well okay then...are you thirsty?" and she answered yes so I went and got us some drinks and we sat down and talked.. or you can say talked and listened because I was just amazed of her beauty while she talked. I was just staring and nodding until she noticed that I wasn't paying attention and hit my arm and I laughed and so did she.. We were laughing at each other for a while until Allison came over with a smirk on her face which scared me because I didn't know what she was thinking..then she comes out and say's " what are the two love birds laughing about?" I cleared my throat at the name love birds while Emily just looked at her drink and said that we were just talking and then started laughing and then Allison say's oh like she wanted it to be about something else. After that I felt pain in my back..so I excused myself and ran upstairs into my room and locked the door and then I turned around and look in the mirror and notice red stains on the back of my shirt so I took off my shirt and notice that it wasn't just a stain..my cut was bleeding and a sharp pain hit me more which made me scream and causing Allison, Grandpa, Grandma, and even Emily run to my room door asking if I was okay and I lied and said yes because I didn't want to worry them but no matter what I said they noticed the pain in my voice and called security to break down the door but before they came in I felt light headed and fainted hearing my name being called. When I woke up I saw Allison sleeping on the chair and Emily sleeping by the bed holding my hand making me feel at ease so I laid back down but I guess Emily felt my movement because she woke up and was about to say something but I placed my finger on her lips say shh.. so she wouldn't wake up Allison and so Emily shook her head okay and I removed my finger from her lips and she whispered " are you okay?" with concern in her voice and I answered " yeah I'm okay" she just looked at me for a while and then said that the doctor said that the reason why my back started bleeding again was because I probably banged it on something or scraped it with something..I tried to think of what could of down that and I recalled that 2 hours before the party I was playing with Night until I tripped and fell down the hill and hit my back on a rock or something..when I remember I laugh making Emily look at me weird so I told her and then she said that I need to be more careful and smiled..next thing you know Allison wakes up and comes over to the bed and hugs me tightly and said " don't lie to me...if it worries or hurt you tell me and ill go through it with you that's what family is for..okay?" after she said I tried to hold back the tears and barely said okay without it sounding like I'm about to cry and then Night comes and jumps onto the bed and starts licking me and everyone starts to laugh..until Grandpa and Emily's father, Chris come into the room and ask's everyone to leave the room so they can talk to me in private..to tell the truth I was so scared until Mr.Chris said " calm down boy..we just want to talk about Emily's and your relationship" "Relationship...?" I replied and they said yes and then ask if I'm okay with marrying her or if there is someone else...I didn't answer but I asked if Emily was okay with marrying me and Mr.Chris said "she was excited that you were the one and she even made me book a flight so we would make to your party but when we got here she ended up leaving my side before we even entered your house.." when he said she was excited that it was me my cheeks felt like they were on fire and my heart was beating faster and faster until Mr.Chris asked me if I was okay with it and of course I answered yes..who wouldn't marry such a beautiful and intelligent girl.. they smiled after I said yes and Mr.Chris came and hugged me saying " Take good care of my daughter and if you make her cry.." before he could finish Grandpa said " okay Chris...don't scare my grandson now.." and they laughed and told me to get some rest and left the room..after they left the room I was at peace and fell asleep. I wake up to my father yelling at me saying " It's all your fault your mother is gone! what do you have to say to that...yeah thought so you can't say anything..you killed you mother and then complained about how much you want her here but it's all your fault you couldn't protect your mother what makes you think you can protect Emily and your sister...you are just going to get them killed!" I woke up yelling "no..I didn't kill her..it wasn't my fault" and then realized that I was in my room and that was just a dream...but I felt that way..I felt that I was weak and couldn't protect anyone and that I should of been the one who was killed not my mother..but I snapped out of my thought and went downstairs..but to only find Mr.Chris and Grandpa sitting down eating breakfast and drinking coffee and as soon as I walked into the kitchen all eye's are directed at me until Mr.Chris said " Oh my lord...Ky!" I answered scared half to death " yes?" and he said " boy have you seen your body in the mirror lately?" I was confused to that point and then Grandpa says " yup that's my Grandson for you..." and then Mr.Chris says " no wonder Emily likes you so much...she can't resist your body nor your looks" I blushed at that and ask what they were talking about and Allison said " look at your shirt" and I soon noticed that I didn't have a shirt on..so all this time they were talking about my body.. but what for... I was just confused..I mean why?..there's nothing special I always looked like this..I always had ab's and I always had muscles..so what was the big deal..so all I said was okay and sat down at the table half asleep waiting for my breakfast..until Emily comes downstairs wearing a T-shirt and some short shorts which just caught my attention from how sexy she looked..it drove me insane seeing her like that, until she said good morning and sat next to me at the table and just looked at me..waiting for me to say good morning back so I did and she smiled and at that moment my heart felt like it was about to explode. I thought to myself "Wait! I have to get to school!" So I got up and ran upstairs hearing them yell what was I doing but I ignored it and went straight into my room and got dressed and came back downstairs..when I came downstairs I sat back down and finished eating and rubbed my belly saying delicious until Emily grabs a paper towel and comes to my face and wipes some left over off of my lip and cheek. I blushed when she touched me and everyone just stared at us..until Mr.Akuma walks into the house saying that the car was ready but then paused to see Emily and I close to each other and her hand on my face and then spoke again saying "did I interrupt something?" Grandpa answered " no not really just the two love birds having a little fun" Mr.Chris and him starts to laugh while Emily starts to back away but before I left out...I did something so out of the blue that it even shock me...which was that I kissed Emily on the cheek and ran out of the house saying " see ya later" I ran into the car, locked the doors and waited for Mr.Akuma..soon Mr.Akuma came out and I unlocked the door but all of a sudden a sharp pain hit me and again it was coming from my back..I couldn't bare the pain and screamed in pain...Mr.Akuma didn't hear which I was happy about because I didn't want to worry anyone so Mr.Akuma got into the car and drove off saying " you have guts for making a girl blush like that boy" I managed to let out a laugh but barely..the pain was to much to bare..but soon we arrived at the school and I got out walking into the building, everyone was looking at me...but then the pain struck me even harder and so I ran into the place where my friend, Richard only knew where I'll be. I went into the music room and went to the piano to calm myself..when I touched the piano the keys caught on fire.."What the?" is what I said before feeling the pain again causing me to fall to the ground. I could see blue lights glowing but notice that it was my blue eyes glowing..my back was hurting even more and I soon heard my shirt ripping but I couldn't bare the pain anymore and fainted.

RICHARD P.O.V

I looked into the class and noticed that Ky wasn't there looking out the window..but then I started walking to the music room thinking that the only time Ky goes to the music room is when he is hurt or something had made him sad..so after thinking I started to run towards the music room. I reached the music room, opened the door and found Ky on the ground with his shirt ripped on the back and blood dripping down his back and that's when I picked Ky up and carried him to the nurse's office and then told the nures what I saw and she sent me to back to class..but I couldn't help but to think of what could of happened in that room..so I text Allison and told her but all she said was okay and asked where he was and I replied " in the nures's office" and she said " thank you".

ALLISON P.O.V

When I got the text from Richard, I was going crazy thinking that Ky is finally changing and letting the power be one with him but it was odd because only females had the ability but Ky was different and I knew it from the start..but then that means they will be coming for him, but he's not ready and taking him would be a waste because he would probably kill everyone or be killed. I went and told Grandpa and Grandma but not Emily..I never understood how Emily never sensed that Ky was just like us but I guess she likes him to much for him, to pay any attention to his power level. All I could do now was just wait..wait for them to come and let them take me to fight and not Ky.
